The symbol should really be a pink swastika, rather than a triangle.

The triangle is a symbol of emotional safety for gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans-gendered, questioning and straight students, and it has been placed on some classroom doors in the school.Wouldn't this mean all sexually active students? If that is the case why does gay come first and striaght is listed last like an afterthought? GLBTQS?

Maroscher reiterated that once a child asks for a Gay/Straight Alliance, the school must provide one. Huh? What if a student asked for a White Power Club or Sex With Toddlers Alliance?

If
someone is offended by the symbol, even if they misconstrue its intended or historic meaning, then the symbol should not be allowed anywhere on public property...
isn't that right Confederate Flag haters?

A three-inch rainbow-colored triangle...Means one and only one thing:
FAGGOT ALERT!!
If they want to designate a safe place, use the Safe Place signs that have been popular for years. The faggots really push, don't they?

He said the triangles serve to let students know they may go to that teacher or room for "emotional safety," free from derogatory comments about any person. So where do white male heterosexuals go for "emotional safety"?

A three-inch rainbow-colored triangleIs somebody at this school is into the yearly (next: August 25 - September 1, 2003) Burning Man Celebration (the 'Burning Man' has a triangular shaped head you see) ...

This is the kind of nonsense we all end up with with wack jobs in charge of education. They may not know how to add or subtract or who the 3rd President was, but they'll be "self-actualized" for "life-long learning".

What the hell? All troubled students have a place to go, its called the councellors office... quit this PC BS.

I think the heart of the issue is pretty obvious. What would happen if Christian teachers proposed putting crosses on their classroom doors, in order to make Christian students feel welcome?

Lest we forget.
The rainbow was a symbol of God's faithfulness long before it was used as a sign of promiscuous sodomy.
Perversion that keeps on giving.

Maroscher said the school, by law, must have a Gay/Straight Alliance, even if only one student requested such a group.WTF? By Law? I doubt it, her missing statement is likey, "well , if it's not a law it should be."
