MSNBC reporting sniper related digging and searching of a building in Tacoma WA. FBI is involved. May be related to something the sniper told police
That was an insulting thing to say about the military. Sounds like you have a real prejudice there. During the Clinton administration a lot of immigrants from Muslim countries were allowed to join the military to get their citizenship. I had a student from Senegal whose Senegalise father was Muslim and in the army. He was married to a black American woman and the marriage eventually broke up. I heard later that the guy was in some kind of trouble. Interesting that they lived in Woodbridge, VA. There are a lot of soldiers, unfortunately, from foreign countries that shouldn't be serving in our Army. Just don't be insulting the military as a whole. That is disgusting.
Good question. Not sure what the answer is.
2 main ons- Aymara and Quechua.
I've heard that before, but like you I have never heard anything about them leaving tarot cards.
Yes, I would say they could be fellow travelers... from the Portland Cell/Group :
* Patrice Lumumba Ford : (aka Lumumba) Patrice Lumumba Ford's family and co-workers knew the 31-year-old as a bright, quiet student who spent a year at Johns Hopkins University's prestigious program in China, earned a master's degree in Chinese studies and married a Chinese woman. - "Latest U.S. Citizens Arrested on Terror Charges Have Varied Pasts; 1 Worked for Politicians, " by Gilian Flaccus, AP via TBO, October 5, 2002
Charged with "Conspiracy to Levy War Against the United States, Conspiracy to Provide Material Support and Resources to Al-Qaida , Conspiracy to Contribute Services to Al-Qaida and the Taliban " ; US citizen who tried to travel to Afghanistan by way of China in October 2001 Patrice Lumumba Ford is world-traveled, apparantly a graduate of or attended the Johns Hopkins Universitys Paul Nitze Center for Advanced Studies (SAIS), he studied in Beijing in the mid-1990s and has attained fluency in Mandarin Chinese. (The old man Ford (the former Black Panther) said comrade junior studied in "Beijing". But the Paul Nitze SAIS China center is in "Nanjing", quite a ways away. What gives? How could the man mistake which Chinese city his son was in for a year?)
Patrice Lumumba Ford, one of the suspected "portland Group" terrorists arrested on October 4, 2002, was an INTERN FOR PORTLAND MAYOR VERA KATZ, the mayor who refused to allow the Portland Police Bureau cooperate with the DOJ on terrorism investigative interviews. -Lars Larson, local Portland talk show host
Named after the African (communist) resistance leader and first president of Congo, Patrice Lumumba Ford worked as an international relations intern in 1986 for then-Portland mayor Bud Clark and again in 1998 and 1999 for Portland Mayor Vera Katz, Patrice Lumumba Ford also taught physical education at an Islamic school in the Portland suburb of Tigard, operated a private shuttle service and worked to resettle recently arrived Muslim refugees into the Portland community. His father is Kent Ford, former head of the now defunct Portland chapter of the Black Panthers and now is a weight-training coach at Matt Dishman community Center, part of Portland Parks and Recreation, in Northeast Portland, Oregon. Patrice has a brother named James Britt.
Doesn't it suck when the bad guys are in your demographic category? I was afraid it might be another White guy who wears his hair short and talks with a drawl.
If they're right about his ethnicity, he was probably one of the bullies I went to school with in NM. Maybe I even fought him once!
I can understand people disliking the confusion-factor of "Indian," but I hate that "Native American" term. Its confusion-factor is far larger than "Indian." I'm a Native American, but I'm not of Precolumbian descent.
I flucuate between ME's and home grown. Local DC gossip is home grown ex-military.
Coarse a once a decade nutcase is easier to accept than a ME terrorist. It means it can go away, terrorists won't.
