MSNBC reporting sniper related digging and searching of a building in Tacoma WA. FBI is involved. May be related to something the sniper told police

That what Fox almost stated. He did say they checked the stump with metal detectors. So they took target practice on the stump I would assume. This should get a huge amount of prints and other info.

I think they're looking for shell casings possibly from target practice and bullets embedded in stumps and such things.

Maybe shell casings. I don't know if brass will ring a metal detector but a lot of surplus 223 is Russian and is steel cased which would.

Aslo, confirmed just minutes before this all broke that the writing in the letter appears to be foreign or american born possibly hispanic. I'm sure they would rather say hispanic than muslim.

It's a gridwork so that they are very sure the metal detector scans every inch of ground. Without the grid, it would be hit and miss.
