Well, it finally happened: McBride leads 49-45%

My heart sank when I saw this one, but one word of caution: my guess is this poll is an outlier because 1) I've never heard of this polling unit, and 2)it has a very high margin of error at 6%.

Maybe I'm engaging in wishful thinking but I just don't see any fundamental weakness on Jeb's part, only ultra high intensity among partisan Democrats. If this race is won, it will be on turnout, not anti-Bush sentiment.

re:
".....the people polled were those requesting absentee ballots residing in Mexico
and several other South American countries
......"

Like the Cubans, most those from Mexico and South America lean towards
the Republican party, not the damnOcraps.

Demmies pay guys to hit these polls, vote fraud is what will determine the election. The Demoncrats motto is "Vote and Vote often".

I cracked up the other day when someone posted how unfair life is, he said, "You can be a voting Republican all your life and end up voting Demoncrat after your dead".

Thanks for posting that. Anyone who understands polling knows that polls taken over the weekend skew toward the Democrat. That's why I put more stock in the McLaughlin poll, which was taken during the week and therefore more likely to have polled an actual representtaive population. Even the Mason-Dixon poll included some weekend days and therefore will skew slightly toward McBride.

I am still concerned that Jeb is not polling over 50%. This is not good for an incumbent, especially one running against a complete unknown. I hope the GOP has its absentee ballot and GOTV operation running the way it did in 2000.

Well, all I can say after watching the debate last night is that if McBride wins, Florida deserves the reputation that it has for having such incredibly STUPID voters.

Why is it a lie? The poll does show that. Is it credible? Probably not, but don't go shooting the messenger because you don't like it.

Why should the manufacturers be held responsible for what happens to a 20-plus year old aircraft? Have you ever noticed that these airlines fly these planes until they fall out of the sky due to old age?

There comes a time when these airplanes should be replaced. If someone is to be sued when a 20-plus year old aircraft crashes, it should be the company that insists on flying an aircraft that should have been replaced with a newer one.

Correction:

Ronaldus Magnus won 49 of 50 states (and lost DC as well). He only lost MN by only 8,000 votes and his staff speculated they could have even won if they counted all the mail in ballots.

You're correct that they key in all the recent polls is that JEB is running under 50%. McBride's strategy all along has been to make himself not look unreasonable and count on JEB's unpopularity to win. In contrast to JEB's numbers, the state has a solid Republican majority Senate, House and Cabinet. After this election Republicans will continue to hold both houses of the legislature and hold all the Cabinet seats. JEB, regardless of what his cheerleaders say, isn't well regarded and could easily lose this election.

Remember the rats are trapped and a trapped rat will do/say anything. This is mostly likely a rat psyops trick to help mclawyer raise money and nothing more. The realclearpolitics gang used the same mumbo jumbo formula to average out the polls and told us W would win by 5%. The problem these poor shnucks have is that they don't filter out rat psyops polls like the ones from zomby ( a self admitted rat supporter) survey usa - just the MOST off the wall crowd and now these mopes inthe Fla race.
Why didn't RCP include the Mc Laughlin poll - Jeb Plus 9?

I wonder what gives?

Thsi poll was ends before the mason dixon poll,
however it has the opposite results..
I think
6% MOE is too high for a state wide poll.

Interesting that they would think that the Bush name is invincibile. JEB lost his first race and President GWH Bush lost his reelection bid.....

This entire article is a slam at Gov. Bush in a effort to promote the opponent.... But when all said it looks like a tight race and a squeaker for the winner.
