but this isn't the MO of a black person. these shootings are too controlled and planned and the victims are too diverse. Uhhhh,I think what you MEANT to say is that blacks are not GENERALLY serial killers. There are plenty of blacks smart enough and organized enough to do this if they wanted.

Sic 'em Dave. Why have they not announced the plates that were on the station wagon this morning. We could have millions of eyes on the lookout.
And they could release the notes too....
The police 'handing' this case just leads to more dead people.

Don't sweat sneakypete, tomkay does this to everyone. He likes making veiled threats toward people and his talk is wild-eyed to say the least.

Thanks for your research and posting the results of your research.
I hope that America can survive the Mooses all over America who are PC Police Chiefs with affirmative acion, Political Correctness and Diversity goals as their key goals instead of good police work to protect their communities from criminals.
A loud and clear message has been sent to the al Qaeda leadership that they can put sniper cells into certain metro areas (The PC police departments) and operate with relative impunity at a low cost and resource requirement.
It is obvious that with many Freepers, being politically correct is more important than the survival of their fellow Americans.

Uh, haven't like 5 of the victims been white anyway? I honestly don't know. I haven't been paying any attention to that.

It's just that your post about "Reichs"-whatever sounded like something off DU. You're welcome to your opinions.

One of the keys to being a great Politically Correct Police Chief is when something like this happens to pass out the Bravo Sierra and never pass out data that can get the community involved. If the community gets involved, the criminals regardless of race or whatever might be caught.
Also, when you are a PC Police and fail to catch the bad guys, you then state that your department was under budget and needs more real cops. Your budget is increased and instead hiring more good street cops, you hire more diversity consultants and promote more PC queens to take care of the increase in your budget.

MOOSE says:
no vehicle or person lookout to share..
Conrad Johnson name of driver who was killed.

I totally agree that a civilian militia patrolling all dark areas that could conceal a shooter would make life a lot harder for this perp. I also totally agree with Southern posters (like muhself) who have noted that life would be even harder for this guy in the South, since everyone shoots down here.
Truthfully though, I don't think the LE community will allow it, unfortunately. I think anyone outside with a rifle or other weapon would be pounced upon by LE, and that's understandable right now. Of course, maybe Moose will let us all have a turn soon. He once said he'd be glad to let the TV media solve this case and he'd just go home. Maybe he's ready to let the population take a whack at this guy? Nah. They'll never let us take any action other than calling the hotline. "Move along folks, let the professionals handle this."

Walmart just voluntarily registers your gun anyway. What else do you expect from a corporation that had Bubbette! Clinton on it's board of directors, and that is in bed in a business sense with the fascists that run China?
Wal-Mart is on MY permanent boycott list. I don't buy anything there that can be bought anywhere else, even if I end up paying a little more money.

Doesn't the lack of witnesses suggest that we are having trouble seeing this guy, much less shooting him?

Give the parents the option.
Withholding possible data on threats to kill innocent children is criminal.

Why have they not announced the plates that were on the station wagon this morning. We could have millions of eyes on the lookout. And they could release the notes too.... The police 'handing' this case just leads to more dead people. I have another theory. It is one basic goal of domestic terrorism to put a wedge between the government and the people, and create distrust. More or less the marxist terrorist MO, but effective nonetheless.
Thus, the shooter deliberately bypasses shots at cops, leaves communications for the cops that he knows will not be completely shared with the public, and the media speculation and little leaks just play it up all the better.
In the end, you have a case that seems unsolveable to the ordinary citizen, they have reason to distrust the police (and LE in general), and they see themselves as separated from justice; mere targets for the amusement of others.
This is effective terrorism! Consider what is going to be going through people's minds across the country on Halloween. Not to mention the nutjobs that will emulate this, or individuals cells that will get the idea that they should activate. Who knows, maybe capitalism has rubbed off on the Hamas-in-the-US set and they are making bids for jihadinasty money from saddam?

People who hit the abuse button around here for no good reason like the one that evidently hit one on you annoy me. I've been here at Free Republic since the beginning and I have yet to hit it once. This isn't kindergarten and the people running this site don't have time to babysit children with hurt feelings. I suggest to those who would hit the abuse button willy-nilly to either develop some thicker skins or just be lurkers to this site. People are going to say thing in this forum that make your blood boil at times. Deal with it.
Of course, I have no issue with the abuse button being used for its legitimate purpose, such as to alert moderators to something posted here that is blatantly a personal attack or something that can cause Free Republic some legal trouble. But there's no reason to post publicly "I hit the abuse button on you" like a friggin' six year old child who caught his older brother stealing cookies.
Well that's my pet peeve rant for the day. Onward with the discussion.

I agree.....paper credentials do NOT tell the whole story. Nor do short press conferences. If you should hear from Dark Knight, would you please ping me? THANKS.

they told me that they would automatically send all my information to the Virginia State Police in Richmond, in addition to the background check. This is not required under Virginia law, BTW,this IS required by law. It's part of the background check. The feds only have records of federal felons, not felons who comitted non-federal felonies. They also don't have any records of people with restraining orders on them,or who have been comitted to mental institutions. The state does. It's all a part of your basic,"Big Brother LOVES you!" package.

You must be a Baldwin or Streisand or maybe even a Jessica Lange wannabe I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say you are one of those people who doesn't "get" irony.
