JUST BREAKING!!! Police confirm another shooting. But are not sure if it is related.

Just about five days ago, CourtTV did a long special on the old SF Zodiac Killer. In one of his letters to the cops, the Zodiac said something about how he believed all his victims would become his slaves in the after-life. I believe I've heard a similiar belief from other psycho killers.

The "thuggee" (from which our word thug derives) cult of India, who worships the Hindu godess Kali, would ritualisticly strangle their victims, with the belief that those killed would serve the killer as slaves in the afterlife. The Green River Killer was, for a time, thought to be a practioner of thuggee.

You're right. I know it's not as easy as I made it sound -- I was just trying speculate on how someone looking for a lot of cash in a situation like this would attempt to get it without handling the cash directly.

Regarding the media and children: don't you think it likely that the media was NOT told but the school system WAS?

There is a great deal of discussion about what's being told the public and what is not.

'The public' does not have a right to all the details of the investigation. Hopefully, they will be given enough to take reasonable actions toward self protection, where it is possible to do so.

The media still believes it is at war with anyone with knowledge not yet in print. This morning the first police statement included a plea to stop trying to photograph or ingerview everyone in the neighborhood - before the cops could get to them.

I'm coming around to believing that much of what has been put out to the media is misinformation in any event. Possibly to force the shooter(s) into communications. [Such as - "what do you mean by implying that I/We want money...we're doing this because ...."].

It's possible that the three page note is a ruse aimed at breaking up the team - which MIGHT explain why today's shooting returned to the home area. [Could there be a white box truck sitting in a lot somewhere with a very ugly smell coming from the back?]

Finally:

There seems to have been at least one distinct departure during this string - the kid at school. Apart from the 'returning home' theory, I wonder if the bus driver is also a departure since it suggests a fairly close shot [In darkness although driver probably had light for paperwork). Target inside the bus and elevated [shooter had to be fairly low to ground level - essentially shootin upwards]. And, a target that literally had to be there at the approximate time [standard stop/lay over for paperwork]?

The Rockville, Maryland Sniper victim shot this morning passed away a short while ago.

His job is one that allows him to be very mobile and solitary. This job would suit him because he is a social isolate. This also would minimize the amount of contact with co-workers who might notice that he fits the profile of the sniper.

How about a guy who works for Washington Gas? He could, for example, drive the gas-sniffing truck. FWIW, Washington Gas serves serves DC, and surrounding areas in MD and VA. It'd be interesting to compare gas truck locations to the shootings.

To the Freepers who are cheering for Moose, it is time to wake up. He got his current job because of his PCing and Diversity training of the Portland, Oregon police department.

I had also found an interesting quote about him on the Montgomery County Sheriff's Deaprtment official website:

This case was lost when Moose and his PC/Diversity team got involved in the first few days. Any good leads where filed away and forgotten about if they were even accepted. That is how PC Police departments work. They bury the data on crimes and then try to Bravo Sierra their way through the mess.

I'm not just criticizing Moose but all of the current PC police chiefs in America.

This scene will be repeated in Denver, Philly, Baltimore and _______ fill in the blank in metro areas where liberal mayors, liberal city councils and liberal media have appointed PC Queens as their police chiefs. Then, those PC Queens drive out the good cops and replace them with PC and Diversity totems.

Every left wing metro area that voted for the Goron in the last election is a prime target area for a team of snipers with their PC and Diversity goals versus protecting the citizens. I will be on those PC chiefs when they follow the same path when the sniping starts in their cities.
