This can't be! There are no guns allowed in the 'land down under'! Why are you lying to us? < sarcasm/>

You on quite a rant because the CNN talking heads didn't get it right. So you rant about all Americans. I live in Kansas City, Missouri I can't tell you the number of times on the national news we have been referred to as being in Kansas. We just laugh it off here. I think the bigger issue here maybe the world wide spread of attacks on civilians by radical muslims.

You're so excitable you can't even tell when you're being baited. This has been amusing. Thanks.

Could you clear something up for me? Why call yourself an American when it is apparent that you don't think to highly of 'insular' Americans?

There are no guns allowed in the 'land down under'! Wrong.
But your false statement is beside the point. We have guns here in America....yet the sniper just hit his 12th victim today. Hmm......

Has anyone seen any other info with motive, etc?

Oh, please! I read Australian and British newpapers online all the time and they repeatedly make similar mistakes when reporting on US stories.
To: aynrandfreak
Not to my knowledge. Not yet.

You, sir, are rude to people who like Aussies.

If it doesn't happen in the lower 48, you don't give a rat's assI think there is sufficient evidence on these threads that many Americans care a great deal about our Australian cousins.
BTW, do you know where Dixon is? And which famous American grew up there? Just checking...

IIRC, Monash has a good computer security and cyrptology research program, while Melbourne has a good biology faculty and veterinary medicine. Does that help?
