Yes and no. If the Muslims in America start killing people, a lot of people will die before order is restored. But sooner or later it would lead to more realistic measures controlling the thousands of Muslims who are here illegally or on temporary visas.

Restoring order in that circumstance would take extraordinary measures. Could get bad and not be resolved for a long time.

Cicero, naturally we suspect al-Queda, but we've jumped the *gun* before. The suicidal Swiss guy who crashed his plane into an Italian building this year. The angry ex-student who killed 17 people in a German school last April. We all thought originally that those incidents had to be Muslim terrorists. Let's see...

"The suicidal Swiss guy who crashed his plane into an Italian building this year."

On a side note.

I read just this week that this Swiss guy was wearing only his underwear when he crashed into the building.

Two dead in Melbourne shooting

Two people have been shot dead and eight others injured at the Clayton campus of Monash University in Melbourne.

A man has been arrested and taken to the Glen Waverley police station.

The shooting happened on the sixth floor of the Robert Menzies building, which is home to the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.

Hundreds of students were in the building at the time.

They say the first thing they heard was a woman screaming.

"We heard her screaming, then five minutes later we heard the police helicopter come over," one bystander said.

Police say the Homicide Squad is now investigating.

"We're at the very early stages of what will be a quite a protracted and large investigation," a police spokesman said.

Two of the injured have been rushed into the Alfred Hospital's trauma unit.

Their condition is not yet known.

Hospital staff are preparing for the possibility of more casualties arriving soon.

I may live here now, but I am DISGUSTED at the lack of knowledge or even AWARENESS that a great majority of the US public (and, it seems, even journalists!!!) show towards the rest of the world.

Don't take it too hard...I'm disgusted at the lack of knowledge and awareness that most of the public and journalists show toward their OWN country.

Have you ever seen Jaywalking on The Tonight Show?

"Grow up YANKS - you're not the only "developed nation" in the world, and in fact there was a time when Australia was richer than the US."

Where's Australia??? Isn't somewhere south of Cleveland??

Grow up mate...Australia isn't richer, Australia has it's share of ignorant people and media too. As for "growing up", it appears that your short's are the one's in a wad, MATE....

'No way. Guns are completely banned there.'

Wrong.Guns are not banned in Australia.

This incident has nothing to do with gun laws.
