President Bush returned to the White House today after a weekend at Camp David. On Monday, the President is expected to announce President new regulations aimed at speeding consumer access to lower-cost generic drugs by limiting the ability of drug companies to prolong patent protections. The President is also pushing the Senate to approve the last three items of his proposed 401k protection package. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

QUOTE OF THE DAY: My three additional proposals -- allowing more diversity in 401(k) accounts, and more frequent account updates, and advice for workers -- have already passed in the House. But after six months, the Senate has not acted. For the sake of American workers who are concerned about their retirement security I urge the Senate to pass the rest of my proposals into law. People who work hard and save for the future deserve every protection we can give them.

Seems the young cowboys want to be just like the President! Check out their boots! Gotta say their choice of shoes was better than Dubya's!

Happy Sunday, everybody!
Yesterday, I went to B&N and bought myself a copy of "Fighting Back" by Bill Sammon because a bunch of you were raving about it last week. I'm halfway through it and am in total agreement that it's a great read! I love all of the little stories of kindness and consideration that the president shows to "ordinary" folks. What a great start to my week!

Oh goody! The Prez and the dogs!
Thanks rintense!

"...new regulations aimed at speeding consumer access to lower-cost generic drugs by limiting the ability of drug companies to prolong patent protections."
Is this a euphemism?

Oh how darling those children in the cowboy hats are! A Sunday dose is a special treat! Thanks RWP!

Dubya's shoes look comfortable. Camp David attire.
The kids' boots remind me of "Blazzing Saddles."

I agree! Great shoes! What's more, I love the colors of his suit combined with that burgundy-ish tie. Another home run ensemble...

Oh good. This thread was desperately needed after arguing on a thread with some _ _ _'s about "Suspending the Constitution" LOLThat's for sure! I was never so happy to see this ping in my life! LOL

Oh no, the shoes aren't right for the outfit. They belong with something more casual, without a jacket. That said, the rest of the ensemble is great. Good colors. Those clodhoppers go with dockers or jeans.

Well, there were some good answers today, but not as many as I would have liked to see.
