I enjoyed the cartoons, but the worst thing Davis did was order power and refuse to pay for it. That unpaid debt has challenged the solvency of energy companies and neighboring states. In my mind, it is the reason behind the Enron bankrupcy, which put 60,000 people out of work.

He may be friends with reactionary dockworkers unions who now earn ave $100,000/yr, but he is no friend of ordinary people who work for a living and need politicians to lay off demonizing and destroying their companies.

If you happen to run across a thread on the judges, please bump it to CalGov2002. I would like to read what people say about the judges they know or have observed.

I changed my mind on Prop 51 after reading part of it (to No on 51, because it mostly goes to mass transit and other things that don't improve our highways), and also to No for CA Supreme Court Associate Justice Kathryn Werdegar, but I didn't update my profile immediately. The rest of my profile is probably unrelated to your voting districts.

I plan to vote NO on all the propositions (except I haven't decided 48), and No to all the justices except Marvin Baxter (and some undecideds for my court of appeal).
