President Bush hosted a conference on minority homeownership at George Washington University today, where he discussed public and private sector efforts to address the homeownership gap and increase the number of minority homeowners in America. Bush began his day with an FBI briefing and later met with his National Security Council. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

kitkat, thank you - and I know our prayers are for not only my daughter and her family, but for all of the people in the DC area who are going through this terrible time.
To: Inspectorette; MJY1288
We can only hope that our prayers are being heard and that this evil will stop before another innocent man, woman, or child is murdered by this evil one or ones.Amen, Inspectorette! There is intense prayer going up from all over the country for the safety of every person in the DC area. May God give wisdom and insight to those working on this case so that this evil can be stopped!

BOY! It's times like these when we REALLLLY need the Lord! I'll keep your daughter in my prayers! I too have been in a down hill mood lately, I am SCARED stiff we won't win the senate back. And to top it off, J. Bush isn't doing too well either down in FloriDUH.. :( I just feel the GATES OF HELL have flooded our land. I don't UNDERSTAND how the RATS can be going so well, or even running neck in neck with the Pubbies when they have no economic plans or anything else for the matter. The liberals are so ANTI-America that it boggles my mind how the sheeples are still going to vote for them. If the RATS are victorious this Nov. it only tells me one thing, our party in the future will cease to exist! I know I'm being totally negative tonight, but I'm sick of the illegal tricks the RATS are pulling. There is no justice anymore, it feels like all hell has broken loose all over the globe! In moments like these you wish Jesus would come soon!

Halloween reminds me..my grandson is going as a soldier, complete with camouflage make-up, which he thinks is cool.
My granddaughter is going as a cheerleader (I am making her a Bushbot because I watch her every Friday). Ha!
I am anxious to see what the costumes are this year when the trick-or-treaters arrive.

Look at how beautifully behaved that child is, her parents must be so proud! I agree .. and check out the pearls .. she must be a fan of Barbara Bush too

ooops that's DOING instead of going...sorry :)
To: Miss Marple
Miss Marple, thank you. I am grateful that the President is calling on the military to help in this situation - I'm not going to worry about the ACLU et al who are going to shriek about this use of the military. When our citizens are being systematically murdered one by one, it's time for the governmetn to step in.
Hope your daughter's situation has been resolved, I can imagine your fear, too. Thank you for your prayers. I think if we all lift our voices up in prayer, God will answer us and show mercy on the innocents and justice on the guilty.
To: RoseofTexas
Lots of what you hear is the spin from the Rats.
I understand your concern, because it was also my concern in 2000. However, with much prayer and God's help, we prevailed.
We must pray and trust that God will help us in this battle. I believe if we are faithful and honor the Lord (as the President has done) that we will win the day.

This president consistently touches my heart and no more so than when he hugs a child!!!
You can find results from the most recent Marist College Poll at
http://www.maristpoll.marist.edu/usapolls/021011pz.htm
The poll indicates that 2/3rds of the American people approve of our president's job performance (his disapproval numbers are still under 30%) and approximately 60% would vote for him over Gore!

Oh, that picture is great! Dubya is obviously telling the little girl to look at the camera so that she can get her piture taken. Could you even imagine Clintoon even thinking about bothering to do that?

The sniper coverage is constant. It is horrible what is happening over there. Yes, and what I'm concerned about is that because of the endless coverage, and 'experts' giving opinions that this evil person or persons are getting an even greater rush because of all the publicity.
I also hope that people don't in any way get numb to the horror of these atrocities because the media are beating it into the ground with 'newsless' coverage.
The good thing is that things seem to be moving on Iraq, with or without the media because our stealth President doesn't need publicity to do the right thing, and the Dims attempts to put the economy on the front page have failed miserably.

"...and the Dims attempts to put the economy on the front page have failed

And today's stock market results (four days in a row) must have the Democrats sweating.

Thanks for the encouraging words. Right now I feel so down, I pray God doesn't turn his back on us. Though we deserve it! I'm sick and heartbroken of all the vicious bashing and hatred the liberals all over the world have for our president! Yet I understand that a godly man will never be recieved kindly. Jesus was treated the same way, darkness cannot stand light! I'm not saying that Mr. Bush is in the same level as our Lord, what I'm saying is that I hurt for him as a brother in the Lord. I know God will show us his plan soon but for now we need to get on our knees, with fasting and prayer, and lift our brother, our country, our military, those who are mourning, gosh there is so much to ask for. I know we serve a FAITHFUL God who will show us, his children, mercy.
To: ohioWfan
You are right, the Democrats have not been able to get anywhere with using the economy. And with the way the stock market is rallying, the coverage on Iraq and the Sniper blocking them from lying they must be tearing their hair out!!!! I love it. I hope they all go down to defeat in November. I know that is a bit too much to ask for but a majority in the House and Senate is not!!!
