Officially it was billed as "Focusing on Vision," but before the lively two-hour Blaisdell Center Pikake Room meeting ended at noon yesterday, most of the 250 folks in attendance were calling it everything from "old-fashioned government" to "town hall politics."

This is nothing more than an attempt to taint future jury members who will be pulled from the population of the state of Hawaii, since it will be the only venue from which to call the same "tainted" jurors.

It is an old scam and will not work here.

But it is another bullet for the Lingle campaign.

The absolute arrogance of the Democrat machine has been assumed for so long that it has now evolved into political arrogance far beyond reality.

Reply to post #1: I have an idea, let the so called vision team and neighborhood board keep their visions, and then give the money back to the taxpayers.
