A day in the life of President Bush (photos): 10/13/02

President Bush and First Lady Laura stayed in the nation's capital this weekend so Laura could finish up her National Book Festival yesterday. This morning, the first couple attended church services, and when asked by reporters to comment on the bombing in Indonesia, Bush called the act cowardly and urged the world leaders to once again unite in the global war against terrorism. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

LOL, so all you left coasters ride around barking at each other?

Now that I've moved to D.C., my barking at passing cars really looks out of the ordinary.

No, we really don't moo, we give each other a friendly little wave, or the finger, depending on the traffic situation. I was trying to make you feel better about your strange behavior.

If Grammie would stop hitting me upside the head I'd heal faster.

Doing Algebra with my daughter is helping my processing skills...and I'm learning Algebra all over again! This time I hope it sticks. :o)

You don't bark at anybody up there! I used to live there and barking at people on the Beltway is dangerous.

I'm impressed. My daughter is in a Pre-AP Algebra II class and it is WAY over my head.

OK, the mooing thing....I was back in Wisconsin, visiting my folks, and my sister and I took our mom out. Well, there were cows at the side of the road, and sissy and I were in one of our (continuous) weird moods, so we rolled down the windows and started mooing, just to (sorta!) embarrass our mom.

Little did we know that the farmer was now standing in his front yard, watching us.

I drove away, rather fast.

That is so true about Islam hitting up on the poor and uneducated. However, I was quite surprised when they would abandon christianity but then again I have not been neglected by my government or my church.

PROOF THAT I GOT IT FROM GRAMMIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Friends of ours live in the country. Across from their property are the cutest cows you've ever seen. I always take time to sweet talk and pet them. I love cows.

Oh, sheesh, she's a weirdo like my daughter. Mine loves math, and she actually "gets" it. This is a foreign concept to me and must be a throwback to an earlier generation, because she didn't get it from me or her father.
