Gee,
You'd think it would be easy to fins a truck with, "UNKNOWN WORDS, UNKNOWN WORDS," stenciled on the side...#8-)
To: Joe 6-pack
easy to, "find." (oops)
To: TheOtherOne
You've got to be kidding me! They can't find a truck that big? THAT slipped through yesterday's dragnet? Okay...
To: TheOtherOne
Not the Chevy Van with the ladders, obviously.

I can see that the panel graphic reads 'unknown words' on the side of the truck, but is it similar to the actual typeface, size, and color that was reported by the witnesses?
To: TheOtherOne
That's a minivan?? And what happened to the ladder rack?

All of the soccer moms started screeching "profiling!", so they had to change it something a man would drive.
To: Joe 6-pack
LOL.
But I'm sure there will be people looking for it.

Today for fun, my husband and I counted 40 white trucks and vans in about 30 minutes of driving around Fairfax. If it wasn't so serious this would be comical.
To: mseltzer
..two white vehicles were used...the box truck was last week, and yesterday a white Astro van with ladders.....btw..why did it take a week for a grapic of the box truck.....geeeez!..

During Fox news coverage of the 13 year old who got shot, the helicopter cam swung around and was watching a police car pull up to this type truck as two guys were getting out of it. The white truck appeared to be several blocks away from the high school and behind a store. Wonder if there was any connection. The news commentator made no mention of the truck at that time. Did anyone else notice this coverage last Monday?
To: TheOtherOne
I can't imagine why a shooter would select a vehicle of this size because of the difficulty of maneuvering through traffic in a getaway. Plus it's so much easier to spot than a smaller vehicle. I sure hope the witnesses got the right vehicle.

I have a feeling the box truck and Astro van are bogus....
To: lizma
"But I'm sure there will be people looking for it." ...Looking for it? I'll bet there will be idiots trying to replicate it!
To: mystery-ak
I don't necessarily have a feeling that they are bogus, but I have grave concerns that the witnesses haven't got the right vehicle, if any was used.
