Speaking from the Roosevelt Room at the White House, President Bush thanked the House for passing an Iraq resolution by a vote of 296-133. Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle shocked many today as he crossed party lines that he had drawn a few weeks ago, and decided to back the President's plan. The White House also announced today that Bush will be traveling a lot between now and November 5th, traveling to key election states such as South Dakota, Minnesota, Michigan and Florida. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!
Not nice dimdog.....not nice at all.
LOL!
I've been here since 1998. I'm not new. Just awake.
It doesn't really matter whether you doctored the picture.....you're still a disruptor on this thread (where it has been well established for more than a year that comments like yours are inappropriate) you're not nice, you're definitely not awake, and you're dead wrong about George W. Bush.
A person who laughs at the character of this man is either brainwashed or blind......or both.
That's all I'm going to say to you, because I don't care to continue a discussion with a person so lacking in judgement. You can disagree with his decisions, his politics, his point of view all you want.......and there are plenty of threads where you can bash away with your nasty cohorts.......but when you laugh at his character and honor, you are revealing that you are nothing but a fool.
The purpose of this thread is to celebrate the joy of having such a man (and his wife) in the White House after the 8 years of hell we have come through. If you perceptions are too dull to appreciate the difference, you have no business being on this thread.
If you care to continue your bashing of our courageous, intelligent, Godly, honorable President, freepmail me and leave this good thread alone.
No, it was a funny picture. The man is not honorable or honest and that has nothing to do with the dummied up picture. That has to do with the fact that he lied on the campaign trail and is doing the opposite of what he promised.
The fact alone that he signed the patriot act is proof enough that he has no honor.
I was fully capable of checking your bio for stats (and noticed that you are a veteran ***bowing down***), but was referring to your newness as a poster on this thread, which has been running for as long as this honorable man has been in office.
But as for awake, that is in your eyes only. Keep it to yourself. Your great wisdom and enlightenment are not welcome here.
Your one-tracked griping is out of place and unwanted on a thread created and dedicated to celebrating this wonderful presidency. You may disagree with the Patriot act, but to make a leap to saying that he is not honorable because he disagrees with you is beyond any form of logic or reason.
It says much more about your lack of honor than it does about his.
That's not what I said. I said he is a liar only not in so many words. He promised one thing in his campaign and then did another once elected. Campaign finance reform is another one of those dooseys. It's not about agreeing with me, it's about his actions agreeing with his words. You apparently, along with quite a few others around here, have an extremely low standard when it comes to what honor is.
If that were true, I'd be rah-rahing Bush.
It is you who are naive, not those of us who admire this man. It is you who are arrogant enough to say that your opinion trumps reality.
George W. Bush is an honorable man. He has done things that I don't understand, nor agree with, but to say he has no honor is downright stupid. You will never find anyone who meets your standards, because no such man exists. You will never see a President who refuses to compromise to achieve a greater goal. Never. You live in lala land if you think your own particular candidate would make you happy 100% of the time.
I won't reply to your idiocy again, so just go away.
No, that would be reality or truth.
Compromise doesn't require a lie. You can compromise and still tell the truth. Bush has outright lied. He also calls for war with Iraq while trotting out false and dubious evidence in order to justify such a war. That is NOT honorable by any stretch of the imagination.
I think I'd like to know what in the world you believe to be the definition of honorable.
George W. Bush is a disgusting creep. He lies, he is without honor. He is stupid, irresponsible, and probably didn't even win the election. He probably is lying about loving his wife too. That's the kind of awful person he is.
Harry Browne or Pat Buchanen should have won, because they are honorable and would never compromise their positions. They are wonderful human beings who don't lie.
All 80% of those other Americans who trust George W. Bush, and think he's a good guy are fools. They are stupid and naive, because they don't see what a total creepy dishonest guy we elected.
There........I feel so much better now that I admitted that. Thanks for steering us straight about this nasty person.
Have a nice life, Demidog. Bye. (oh yeah.......now that you've succeeded in making your point......don't bother coming back......OK??)
Why don't you be honest with yourself? The only opinion that matters to you is yours.
I already told you that I believed that he compromised in order to accomplish a greater goal, but you didn't care about that. Why should you care about what makes a man honorable?
But just for the record......
Honor is having an understanding of what is right and what is wrong, and doing what is right regardless of what anyone else thinks.
Honor is being true to your wife, and your marriage vows.
Honor is obeying God, and doing what HE has told you to do, regardless of human opinions.
Honor is having core values and living by them.
Honor is living by a moral code.
Honor is loving others more than you love yourself.
George W. Bush lives up to all those things, and I could list a hundred more, but that doesn't matter to you, because your political sensibilities have been offended by the Patriot Act.
Now go away. You don't give a rip what I think, and the only reason you're on this thread is to cause trouble, It is abundantly clear that the only opinion you value is your own.
Go find the other 13 people in the world who agree with you that George W. Bush is not honorable, and have yourself a pity party that he won the election.
