Speaking from the Roosevelt Room at the White House, President Bush thanked the House for passing an Iraq resolution by a vote of 296-133. Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle shocked many today as he crossed party lines that he had drawn a few weeks ago, and decided to back the President's plan. The White House also announced today that Bush will be traveling a lot between now and November 5th, traveling to key election states such as South Dakota, Minnesota, Michigan and Florida. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I thought Santorum is the Penn Repub Gov who did such a good job during the miner crisis earlier this year.

I'm so comforted.....

Yep. Me too. This president really does care about children and all citizens. I'm confident he's on the job and not scheming 23-hours-a-day about how to get into some gal's pants.

I wasn't familiar with him until the other day when he responded to Strom Thurmond ....... I caught on very quickly that he's one of the rattiest of the 'rats! Hatch actually came through with flying colors on that ...... pretty much called Reid a liar and said that Leahy had done what Senators just don't do ...... gave his word to a fellow Senator and then broke that word. It's not often that I cheer for Hatch but I was that day!

Thanks for the information on Taylor.

Actually, as he was going to lose anyway, maybe this will give him a long shot to win on a protest, sympathy vote.

The Senate has adjourned until Tuesday morning! No shenanigans, I guess. Now all the snakes will go home to their constituents and take credit for leading the discussion on the war and doing the right thing, I suppose ...... GAG!

I guess it also gives the GOP the chance to demonstrate that they follow the law and don't appeal to the judiciary to make things go their way. This is the antithesis of New Jersey. Not sure it will play out that way in the country, but that's my take on it.

Did Hildabeast ever take the floor and express her worthless opinion on this resolution?

I don't know. I was gone all day and only watched the vote just now. I really doubt anyone really cares what she had to say.
