The state motto of New Hampshire is "Live Free Or Die!"
Mr. President and Members of the Republican Caucuses of Congress: Read My Lips; No More Socialism!
The terms for winning conservative votes are simple and reasonable. I believe Republicans need conservative votes in order to win elections. I am a conservative voter. Every part of my heart, body and soul wants to vote for you. But whole generations of Republican candidates have let freedom and our people down. No More! If you want my vote,
MY VOTE IS FOR SALE!

The American Dream is in danger of becoming a patriot's nightmare. Ronald Reagan's Shining City on the Hill is being dragged down into a socialist's swamp. Democrats acting alone spawned this debacle in progress. Republican capitulations to the demands of Democrats have been responsible for the perpetuation of this atrocity. Now is the time to put an end to this lunacy before it becomes a complete catastrophe. No one but fools or liars will deny these self-evident truths.
We have a choice to make in every election. We the people of the United States have fewer than five elections in which we can choose to save the legacy given to us by the Founding Fathers. I am going to cast the four votes that I have left within the time frame while it is still possible to make a difference for the Reagan Renaissance. Blindly voting Republican as the lesser of two tyrannies preserves the serfdom of our citizens and maintains the downward spiral of the Social Security sewer until bankruptcy blessedly ends our suffering and slavery.
I hope every Freeper will think carefully before they choose.

I will simply leave and find another country that is willing to respect my freedom and the God-given rights of its citizens. And what country would that be? As far down the road to socialism as we are, the US is it. I would love to have a conservative congress. But that is not possible now. Read the polls. In the real world, a Republican congress is way better than a Dem congress.
Those who say we should just let the Dems run the country into the ground and then pick up the pieces are dreaming. The endgame to that mugs game is not a restored Republic but a South American style despot.
So VOTE REPUBLICAN. A straight ticket. Slow down the march to despotism and then teach your and your friend's children well.

You ignore the fact that your views are in the minority. If you persist in threatening to not vote for a republican candidate over ideological grounds, then you help to elect democrats.(the real enemy)
It would be my hope that you would vote a straight pary ticket and hold your nose if you must.
We need a plurality in congress to stop the democrat machine. We need much more than we presently have in the house to avoid costly compromises! That is what is happening now. We are not dealing from a position of strength!

The problem is a real clash of civilizations within our own culture.
In a democracy, 51% can vote to enslave 100%. If you are part of the 49% that still wants to live in freedom, what do you do? You can complain that the 49 were too weak willed, but the fact remains that the culture as a whole has lost its love of liberty.
And that is precisely my observation. The average American now will gladly give up his freedom for the right to control his neighbor. And the average American will gladly give up his freedom in order to get a free payday.
The lottery, lawsuit, SSI mentality has won out over the work ethic of putting on foot in front of another. And who in America is not happy to sign on to the subdivision rules dictating the color of your house paint, banning you from fixing your car, and the like?

Freepers are not all that fond of the Republicans. It just happens that in most cases they are the only game in town.
Will you be pleased if your vote helps elect Jean Shaheen?
Every election has to be approached by asking, what vote will do the most to help move toward what I believe in, or at least move away from it more slowly, within the realm of possibility? Voting for a candidate who will only get 1 or 2 percent of the vote usually isn't helpful, except in very special circumstances.

I intend to excercise my God-given rights and secede if there are sufficient like-minded souls Henry David Thoreau didn't need a crowd to do that. Why do you? Just find your own little pond.

Is that anything like blindly voting Libertarian? Or Democratic? Or Green? Or...Point is, that most here aren't blind, contrary to your rantings.
And in most cases, the GOP candidates in various races are better than the Democratic or Libertarian or Tax Reform party candidate. Most of agree on this point. You, obviously, do not.
Perhaps if you amended your message to not voting blindly, period, you'd get a better response.

How are sales for your latest book, "Eeyore Shrugged"?

You will be lucky if this thread sees 30 minutes. The RBAs (Republicans before Americans) will lobby to kill it.

The Emperor has no clothes
And you and your wannabes have no votes...... it does take the votes to get into position to govern.....
All it requires is the quite determination to cast your votes only for candidates willing to act to restore the Constitutional rights that we have already lost.
You write a long screed again with a lot of what if's, wouldyas, willyas, if'nonlies, so why don't you take the time to display a list of those candidates that you are so positive will save us from this malady you see. Don't go half way, go the entire mile and finish what you started or else people will have to guess which is the candidate that will lead.

B.A., a wag once observed that the DemocRATS want national socialism today at midnight. The Pubbies are content to wait a few days.
Bush is spending money and toying with the Constitution in ways about which the klintoons could only DREAM (wet, to be sure).

The two parties continue to flourish on the simple (and cynical) idea that their serious members, i.e. those that expect a political party to adhere to a certain set of ideological priciples, have no other place to go. In no other country would Jesse Helms and ____________ (fill in the name of any RINO) or Jesse Jackson and, say, Sam Nunn be in the same political party. Your frustration has been the subject of innumerable threads here. Solution? Subvert, eliminate the two party system. And yet, we seem to just luv our two party system and it doesn't take much to provoke a major league dissing of some country with a multi party system.
If only those RINOS could be reined, we seem to say. But they won't, it's a "big tent" remember? And you have no other place to go, so there, vote Republican and don't waste your vote on some big earred freak, right?

So who will you be voting for if not Republicans? Or will you be voting at all?

Democrats paved the road to socialism in 1936. That road goes off a cliff somewhere between 2012 and 2016.
Tsk, tsk! Such a pessimist you are.
The solution is simple... just as the baby boomers are about to retire, we pass a brand new prescription drug entitlement. Current bidding for the votes of the New Seniors ranges from $320 billion (Republican) to $1 trillion (Democrat) over the next ten years. Then it gets worse.
Whatever the final tag, no entitlement stays within budget, so the minimum will likely be at least twice the GOP's Pharmaceutical Ponzi scheme.
But there's hope... just say "Take back the Senate!" three times and click your heels together.
It's a beautiful dream...

Socialism and Imperialism are the twin scourges of the current republican administration.
Don't waste my tax funds building an empire on which "the sun will never" set. Like socialism, imperialism is a path to economic ruin, ever-growing government and the end of freedom.
