I'm not saying that this is your case, but I noticed some people seem to hope that the perps are ME terrorists. I for one hope it's the work of a nutcase instead of a new ME terrorists MO. I know the media would have a field day and it makes me sick just thinking of it. But the chaos that would follow if it turns out this is a new wave of terrorist attacks would be even worse than anything we can imagine at this point...

I have to admit, I absolutely love those first person shooters. Rainbow Six especially, mainly because of the religious orientation of the targets.

I can see your concern if this is ME terrorists. However, I also think you are underestimating the strength of the public, especially American. The media can run around squealing about fear and terror, but for the most part people don't let it get to them. They may change their habits, but life goes on.

I would much rather have it be a ME terrorist. If it is a white male gun enthusiast, then we all become a "public threat".

That scares me much more than Abu bin Towlie.

Something else though. When I first read about the tarot card being found at the scene where the boy was shot, and reading was has been said about the death card, something came to mind.

Kind of reminded me of the movie 'The Fallen'. And that did deal with a bad cop killing people.

Just mentioning it in passing.

I just saw a preview for a sniper movie in the theater. Something about a guy sho is trapped in a phone booth by a sniper. I would think it gets delayed while this whole nightmare is going on.

While I was searching after 9-11...just trying to connect dots, I wound up in Egypt (one of the hijackers Egytian?)and got into something that led me to gypsies and that led me to Tarot cards which I really ignored until this came up.

What scares me the most is that if this is a new ME terrorists MO, they will start doing it everywhere in America. And I don't particularly look forward to the chaos (let's not forget the Stock Market consequences too...) that would follow. I have no doubt we'd eventually get used to the Israelis kind of life, but I don't wish it for my kids. But then again, if it turns out to be ME terrorists, we'll just have to deal with it.

The number associated with the *Tower* Tarot card is said to be 9. Nine victims, shootings or 9 fatalities, perhaps? If so, there's more to come.

This does remind me of some movie too. I thought it was private ryan but I looked that up and it was not it... But it seemed like some sniper character was named God.
