[history]
The poll doesn't appear to be posted there yet, but I just saw it moments ago on CNN AllPolitics.
Same poll said that the public favors Democrats 43-38% over republicans on the economy.
Margin of error +-5% on both polls taken to mean that statistically neither party owns either issue, though the Democrats actually have a 1% advantage on Iraq, of all things.

By the way I forgot to mention that the exact figures were quoted from memory... please feel free somebody to correct me...

Wonder why they call it Communist News Network or Cresent News Network.

how could this poll be serious - no one knows what the Dem's position on Iraq is, including the Dem's themselves!!
To: Publius Maximus
Consider the source. Heck, I'd believe the Weekly World News before I'd buy anything coming out of or on CNN.

I can tell you that Bill Schneider and Kathy Whatever-her-name-is could barely contain their glee.

not to worry...they have obviously polled the news room again (just like they did during impeachment!)

Indeed. I suggest we perform the lesser banishing ritual of the pentegram several hundred thousand times before the orderlies arrive with our afternoon snacks.

The real wonder is there are that many non-bed wetting liberals watching CNN.

It doesn't surprise me. People are losing interest. How long can you say that it is imperative to attack Iraq immediately, and then not do it? If we are going to attack then lets do it already. If not, then lets get on with talking about tax cuts. The longer this lingers the more that people are going to have doubt and start listening to the Democrat's BS.

Let's hope this encourages Daschell to continue obstructing, and the Baghdad Trio to continue singing.

Until Bush learns to convince the sheeple that a large tax cut is needed to jump start this economy, he deserves the critism for what we have now!

Even if these numbers are unquestionable, I thank God we have a President who is governed by conviction and good sense rather than public opinion and misinformation.

The longer this lingers the more that people are going to have doubt and start listening to the Democrat's BS. That's right....the American public doesn't have the patience that the Administration has, and it's not surprising the they're losing interest. Dubya and Co. have been talking about Iraq for way too long, and it's coming back to bite them in the @ss. Let's either get on with it, or shut up about it.

For complete poll results, visit
http://www.usatoday.com [NOTE: The poll was conducted by Gallup for USAToday/CNN/Gallup]
If you analyze the raw polling data, it looks pretty good for Republicans (especially among likely voters) and VERY good for President Bush -- he still maintains a phemonenal 67% approval rating (remember, RAT pundits predicted that he'd be back to 50% or lower by this time!!!!).

I'd like to whip Bill Schneider's you know what. I would stuff his "political play of the week" up his rear end.

Strange, Sen Bayh said that 99% of Democrats are in favor of action. I guess the fax machine is down again.
