Like the Twins myself for the reason that locally I follow the New Britain Rock Cats the Twins Eastern League AA club. The Twins bring the players thru the farm system and they develop that way. But boy what a lousey stadium to play baseball in the Twin Cities.

OH MAN!!! This is really going to pi$$ off Hillary!!! Way to go Angels!! ROTFLMAO!!!

The best thing is, the Yankees piss-poor defense (something they suffered with all season) was their undoing.
They gave the Halos at least 5 outs in the 5th. LOLOLOLOL!
Soriano you SUCK!

Just don't be punching any Rick Perry aids Thanks for the good word, but I believe the film holds for posterity that Rick Perry's aide was punched by a fellow Aggie fan last year....Again, paging Mike McKinney!

My husband will be broadcasting that very imitation and your very words that over a certain intercom system in a certain location where there are many Yankee fans where he works Monday morning!

Good news!
This means "Newsradio 88," will really be newsradio again for at least five months.

Yeah, we are missing some of ours ...the latest being Rolen...but they played 100 games without him, they can play a few more. Could have been worse.

It was sweet.

The Angles don't have many victories, but The Saxons do. Do they count?
The Angels now have one big victory against the hated Yanks, and every year is a new one so the old Yank victories are meaningless in light of this big Yankee loss. Steinbrenner lost too! What a joy!

IF ONLY THE SOX COULD HAVE DONE IT

And Orange County votes conservative while the whole state of NY elected Her Heinous and Schumer, two braindead RATS.

The only problem with saying the Yankees ruined baseball is that the Yankees have been the Yankees forever. They have always had more resources than other teams, they have always been able to buy other team's stars (hello, Babe Ruth).
The thing that puts them on a different plane, however, isn't what Steinbrenner spends. Heck, Peter Angelos and the guy down in Texas can match him dollar for dollar. But they end up with sub-500 teams. Just like George used to.
Steinbrenner learned to hire some smart baseball guys and then listen to them. And once you had the confluence of that money matched with intelligent management, it resulted in the latest dynasty.
Which was just yet another Yankees dynasty, like they have had in pretty much every decade. So saying they have ruined the game only makes sense if you mean "they ruined it in the 1920s".

IF ONLY THE SOX... I really had high hopes at the beginning of this season for the Boys from Causeway St.
