Posted on the 'Creel for Congress' website is a summary of Tom Davis's voting record, rather dismal, but not surprising. Here are a few examples:
Abortion Ban HR 2500, 7/17/01 (Roll Call #235) DeGette (D-CO) to the Commerce, Justice, State Appropriations Bill that would have permitted the use of taxpayer funds for abortion services in federal prisons. ACU opposed this bill. Result: Bill defeated. Davis voted YES.
Boy Scouts HR 2944, 9/25/01 (Vote #353 ) Norton (D-DC) amendment to the District of Columbia Appropriations Bill that would permit the use of local funds to force the Boy Scouts of America to reinstate two homosexual leaders and compensate them $50,000 each. ACU opposed this bill. Result: Bill defeated. Davis voted YES.
Roll Call # 53 - 3/12/02 Passage of H. RES. 365 providing for the concurrence by the House to agree to the Senate amendments, and therefore pass H.R.1885, the Enhanced Border Security and Visa Entry Reform Act, which included amnesty for illegal aliens. Eagle Forum urged a NO vote. Result: Resolution passed on suspension. Davis voted YES.
Roll Call # 378 - 10/11/01 Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-FL) introduced an amendment to the Labor, HHS, and Education Appropriations bill (H.R. 3061) to transfer $12 million from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention account. Eagle Forum urged a YES vote. Result: Amendment failed. Davis unbelievably voted NO!

In addition, Davis has formally endorsed the sales tax referendum, which, if passed, will increase Virginia's sales tax by 11%. Though a state issue, Davis is quite active in promoting this referendum with Gov. Mark Warner & Sen. John Warner.
Frank Creel, for the record, is against the sales tax hike.

Take me off your list. I'm in Texas.
Thank you.

This fool cosponsored h.r. 4633 which would force states to make their Drivers licenses Biometric, chip driven and connected to a nationally accessible database!

Poor coverage limits political competitionZWIRE
Mitch Turner, Burke September 26, 2002
The media frequently lament the lack of real choices in elections and the near-certainty of incumbent re-election. If those media opinions are honest, then I am surprised there has been no coverage in The Times of Dr. Frank Creel's opposition to U.S. Rep. Tom Davis (R) for Virginia's 11th District congressional seat.
Does the media really care about a debate on the issues? I noticed no reporter from The Times attended the press conference kicking off Creel's campaign, and no coverage of the candidates' stands on the issues has been run.
Is it any wonder that elections are not "competitive" when no coverage is provided to bona fide candidates who have managed to scale the large hurdles to ballot access erected by the GOP and Democrats to ensure their continued power?
Rather than serving as a check on government power, the press is serving to help the incumbents--and after the election will probably go back to complaining about "politics as usual."...

Creel is the Constitution Party candidate... His site makes no mention of it, and two linked article headlines call him an Independent.

Preparing the way for the mark of the beast should not be a Republican agenda item. Thinking that a chip is the "mark of the beast" is a lunatic item.

Tom Davis is a Jawn Wahner RINO. Without a doubt, I would vote for Creel if I were in that District.
Please join us in our Ollie North for Senate "Write-In" campaign. We need to send a message to the RINOs that they cannot vote liberal and still expect our votes!

RE: "Thinking that a chip is the "mark of the beast" is a lunatic item. "
"What hath God wrought?" the first message sent by electricity.
The number of the beast is simply a number instead of a name, an identifier for chattle. 666 is an unholy trinity of physicallity represented by the number 6. If you place upon your forehead (your thoughts) and your forearm (your deeds) a binding to this physical plane for all of eternity then you deserve the Hell you have chosen for yourself. I promise you this: If they demand my prints I will cut off all my fingers for they will have offended me. If they demand a retina scan, I shall pluck out my eye for it shall have offended me. If they demand my DNA I shall let my blood flow forth upon the Earth for the last time.

You're a bit overwrought, melodramatic, and overstate the case.
But, I'm not into millenialism.

He is not ashamed of anything. He is an honorable man and the best man for the job. Honestly, he's a better Republican than Davis ever will be.
