No way that poll is for real. This IS RAT propaganda designed to just create PR buzz for Lousenberg.

Lol! Can I borrow your #40 (substituting McBride and Jeb Bush) for the Florida press who gave us 3 different bad polls in one week attempting to portray McBride as a winner?

You believe a poll taken by and for lib/dems? When was the last time a DEM told the truth, anyway? They'll use these fake poll numbers, if the USSC takes the appeal, to argue the people of NJ want Lautenberg and they should bot be disenfrenchfried.

LAUTENBERG UP 11 POINTS IN HEAD-TO-HEAD
44% of Likely Voters Support Democrat
WASHINGTON, DC The DSCC today announced poll results completed last evening which show former Senator Frank Lautenberg up 11 points against the Republican candidate Doug Forrester in New Jersey. The head-to head match up had Lautenberg at 44% and Forrester at 33%.

So this is what Larry "Bud" Mellman has been doing since he left The Letterman Show.
(but...is Larry "Bud" still alive? Doesn't matter, dead Democrats do all sorts
of neat things.)

Of course they are saying that. They want it to appear that the repubs are trying to get the leading candidate taken off the ballot. It makes us look even worse.
It is just amazing the way they break the law and somehow we come off looking like the bad guys!

This is rat psyops. I know that an Indie poll done Wednesday night 4 to 7:30Pm of 2993 people : 53% will vote for Forrester. Also 62.5% were women. I also know of a rat internal poll that was just the opposite it was Forrester 8 to 10. Also a national rat poll said that 40% of rank and file Democrats don't feel comfortable with their own party.

11% ...-/+ 4% for party polls = Franky is up by approx 7%

This poll is garbage. 400 people, 'Rat firm, no other info about sampling method.
My hunch is that the race is TIED right now. Given that Lautenberg is the de facto incumbent, and that isn't too bad.

I took the time to learn a bit about The Mellman Group. The poll for democRATS, Enviro-wack-0s and other Liberal groups.
I was a little scared by the results of this poll, but after some searching, I am not so scared. These guys spend a lot of energy making public opinion - and little energy measuring public opinion.
Other polls will come out showing very different numbers.
This Mellman poll is publicized to produce public support for the NJ democRAT machine....I am convinced of this.

The Dims certainly did polling and/or focus groups of Lautenberg and several other potential replacements before flushing the Torch. The only good news may be that Lautenberg was at least the 3rd or 4th choice. So, his polling against Forrester may not have been as strong as others.

Any poll can be biased by the time of polling, the location, the demographics, etc. If you poll in D.C., you will find Bush with a low job approval rating. If you poll in the middle of the afternoon, the number is lower because you only get unemployed/welfare respondents. The point is the Dims can manipulate this thing to their advantage. We'll have to see a truly independent poll to really understand the impact of the Dim switcheroo.

11% ...-/+ 4% for party polls = Franky is up by approx 7% Maybe. While 3-5% is a good rule of thumb for party polls, it is sometimes much higher than that. In the absence of any other polling, there's really no way to gauge the accuracy of these numbers.
To: KQQL
11% ...-/+ 4% for party polls = Franky is up by approx 7% I'm thinking Forrester is still leading and that has the Dems very nervous. Why would they:
A) Reveal their inside poll at all
B) Not reveal how the poll was conducted (what was the question, what geographic areas were contacted, how the polling was done, etc.)
The only answer is that they created this poll for PR purposes only. If there was a real poll showing this kind of a lead, they would proudly reveal the methodology behind it.

Rush was saying today that Lautenberg was out for about 45 minutes today shaking hands. People were not receptive. In fact, they made many comments about how he was not legal, he should be ashamed, etc. It was quite funny.

They run these polls to try and stir up interest and energize their base. The DSCC's last polling published in the Cornyn/Kirk race has Kirk up by 39 to 35% less than 2 weeks ago. I don't believe these push polls done by either party. Look for the coming polls from the more independent sources and see what you get. The Dems may have gotten a bump out of this as it's been the big news in NJ for the last few days.
