It's official folks!
Carl Cameron just announced the first RAT internal poll has Forrester being trounced by eleven points! And I got a sick feeling they're gonna get away with it!

It's probably overstated, but I can believe that Lautenburg is even or slightly ahead (3-5 points).
Why else would they have picked him?

But this is New Jersey! Don't the Dems own this state?

The only chance Forrester has at this point is keeping Lautenburg off the ballot. Due to the DemocRATs cheating, there isn't time to run a reasonable campaign against him, and he has the greater name ID.

Carl Cameron pointed out on Monday, or whenever it was that Torricelli withdrew, that ANY Democrat would be the favored candidate. If this is true, I guess the backlash against the Dems in New Jersey is not true. This is so disgusting.

No kidding, although I think this is aimed more at the Forrester supporters to dishearten them as opposed to convincing everyone. I have to wonder how much of this was a "push poll."

No this is great. The Dems defense in SCOTUS is that the GOP was not "harmed", with this poll showing around a 20 point difference between Torch and Laut there's clear harm to the GOP.

If this is a Fox poll its credible. If this is a internal Democratic poll, its a fraud. Either way, it won't matter. The Supreme Court is going to overrule this decision. Otherwise, all those primary votes mean nothing, so obviously "every vote doesn't count" for the Demonrats. And it would set a precedence that would allow the courts to decide who is going to be on the ballot in elections across the country, not the voters. If that isn't the beginning of a totalitarian system of government, I don't know what is. You might as well get rid of the Supreme Court if they don't rule this. This is at the foundation of our Constitution, the right to vote. It does illustrate just how far away liberals have gotten from the basic tenants of our Republic.

Generally agreed.
Forrester should be checking with the board that monitors campaign funds/usage
(can't think of the acronym) and ask if he gets to "start over" with use of a
full-campaign's worth of funds, now that he has to face a second opponent.

Absolutely right. I think all this was gamed out ahead of time by the 'Rats. Their initial gambit was to keep Torricelli viable by keeping the scandals buried by their friends in the media. When this scheme fell apart you can tell by the smooth transition to Lousyberg (the Pallone and others scrimmage was just a smokescreen) that this was their fallback plan. Lousyberg is well-known in Jersey and has a lot of money. They just did their bait-and-switch, and now what was a potentillay lost seat is theirs for the picking, assuming the USSC doesn't throw a wrench into the plans. But even if they do, what do the 'Rats have to lose by trying? Torricelli was going down anyway, so why not roll the dice and pull the wool over the sheeple's eyes one more time?

I have to say that I do not believe the poll. After all that has been said on Limbaugh about people openly angry with Lautenberg, this poll cannot be right.
It's just another lie perpetuated upon the American public.
Besides, when the USSC takes the care, they will blow this out of the water!

No way, I do NOT believe it! Every article I have read about Dem reaction to what's going on has been primarily disgust for the whole thing. And Lautenberg hardly had a warm reception from the average joe on the way to work this morning as he tried to drum up some action at a Path station. He arrived, cameras in tow, and mostly people wouldn't even acknowledge him as they passed by to get their trains. A few who did had some negative words for him and the party.
If there is ANY truth to this, Forrester better get to hammering on Lautenberg's record regarding security issues because it stinks. It's a goldmine with regard to the fact that many, many victims and survivors of the WTC live(d) in coastal LIBERAL counties in NJ. Tell them that Lautenberg is soft on terrorism and cite how, and he may do some real damage.
Thanks for the ping!

Do we have any clue as to where these numbers come from?
I have an idea:
Clear View Cemetary (456 votes Loutenberg, 0 votes Forrester)
Peaceful Farms Retirement Home (674 votes Loutenberg, 0 votes Forrester)
Average N.J. citizens (12 votes Loutenberg, 905 votes Forrester, 57 still waiting for Democratic instructions)
Remove Dead and the Mentally Infirmed:
12 Loutenberg
905 Forrester
57 clueless
Results accurate to plus or minus 100,000 percent...
Humm...I don't feel so bad...
