Senate debates Iraq resolution
C-Span and MSNBC ^ | 10/04/02 | N/A

The Senate debates Iraq resolution live right now on C-SPAN2 and MSNBC Internet Video.

Will they reach an agreement before the end of the day. The House is with Bush, if the Senate approves the resolution today will Bush announce the declaration of war against Iraq on Monday?

At the moment, Sen. Chris Dodd is rambling about the campaing reform bill which has nothing to do with the Iraq resolution. I hope they Senate approves the resolution today.

I don't think it'll be today as I understand each Senator will have an hour to ramble.

As I understand it, there will be three resolutions brought up and debated. The first two are liberal garbage, and the third will be the resolution passed in the House. I don't think they're even scheduled to get to the House resolution until next week. That's the one that will pass.

Right now, they're just screwing off as usual.

Man, oh, man! Have I been THAT asleep at the switch? Has the house already passed the resolution?

Actually, I don't think the House has scheduled their formal vote on the resolution, but the White House and the members of the House International Relations Committee have worked out the language.

It will pass the House next week.

Senator Debbie Stabenow speaking... she is fighting a war with Iraq in her pea sized brain.. going on and on about how many Americans are going to die! She is a BIG advocate of peace through other means.

IMHO.. this woman is a TOTAL IDIOT!

Is this a republic? Do we have a Congress, or a rubber stamp? Let them talk. It's their responsibility to debate this.

We also have a right to criticize those Senators with whom we disagree. It is called "free speech."
