They do so admire suicide murderers.

Perhaps he can be transferred and be the jailhouse doctor in Gitmo.

"The attempts were thwarted very quickly by those guarding the detainees, and they were treated." Why?

Yeah, Dr K promised he'd starve himself, if he was convicted. No such luck, he's eating his three square's a day in prison in Northern Michigan.

Just a thought:
There's another thread claiming al Quaeda had a three phase attack planned against the U.S.
Now if I were a prisoner and thought my side was winning, or at least planning a major strike, I'd want to be around when it happened.
Their depression tells me the current world situation was not planned.

*yawn* Lots of prisoners try to kill themselves, and considering these guys were demonstrably nuts anyway, it's not surprising.

Military health officials said about 30 detainees are taking antidepressants.
A article in The Los Angeles Times a few months ago had an interview with a
psychiatrist in Kabul. He said that he had LOTS of patients who were big-wheels
in the Taliban.
Capt. Albert J. Shimkus Jr. said most mental-health problems that have surfaced
can be attributed to post-traumatic stress relating to experiences on the battlefield.
"If only I could have killed more infidels before my capture! I am so bummed!"
However, he said he didn't know whether stress from the detention has become a
complicating factor.
Prisoner to US Army psychiatrist:
"To tell you the truth, there really is one thing that bums me out.
That you guys might repatriate me back to my four wives in Afghanistan.
Let me tell you, in my sad case, there is a good reason I make them keep the burqua on...
I can't afford to keep replacing broken mirrors.
And when I leave my prison here in GITMO, I'm gonna' miss the female US Army sentries.
Some of them are real babes. Yep, the thought of going home is depressing."

Response should be: Stay right where you are, I'll get you a rope!

Military health officials said about 30 detainees are taking antidepressants. The next time someone talks about the "treatment" of these thugs, I will remember this sentence.Couldn't we just let them bleed to death? Of course not because we're so darn "Respectful" of Other Humans Rights---though you wouldn't think so from listening to the 'Scourges in The Media' for 30 seconds.
