If this has already been posted, I apologize. Just got back home for a few minutes and have to go out again. The New Jersey Supreme Court is taking phone calls nationally in order to "poll" on this issue. I called from the car and had a polite discussion with person who answered. Their Number is 609-292-4837. They probably won't make a decision today so calls are important. PLEASE CALL.

Just called. Said I can't believe they are really hearing this. Said it was like throwing a forward pass, and then saying, Oh, I didn't like the way I threw that, let me throw it again. It stinks."

Call made... said that Toricelli can't withdraw because the polls are saying he is losing. Polls are meaningless. Toricelli won't know that he has lost for sure until the votes are counted.

Anyway, the Courts shouldn't take a poll to see whether or not they should obey the law.

Is this what we have been reduced to?

I just called the number. The question was "Do you want the Constition upheld or changed?" I asked "Which Constitution, first of all?" She said,"Uuuuuh, I mean whether or not they should let Torricelli be replaced." I said NO. What kind of BS is that? What the hell are they polling people for????THIS IS FREAKING INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!AAAAAAAAHAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Thanks for the heads up. I just called. Stated that the "voters need a choice" argument is utterly bogus. The voters have the ultimate freedom to choose a candidate now: its called the "write-in" vote. Oh, I also mentioned that it is pretty pathetic that the court has to take a "poll" before deciding.
