Torch delivered the Dem response to the president's radio address Saturday, Breaux still defended Torch on TV Sunday morning, the NJEA still came out with an endorsement of Torch on Sunday, and then on Monday everything had changed. You'd think the Dems would have prepared things better before they went public.

I don't believe any of this, anymore than I believe the Torch just dropped out in spite of Clinton begging him otherwise. The screws were put to him, he was forced out, which means there is a plan in place. I can't believe the Demos did this without having something or someone in mind. But just what is it? Enquiring minds want to know...

During dinner, I the little non-cable set in the kitchen on the ABC channel news with Peter something or other. Got some breast cancer, dock strike, aging football players, bus security, but not one word on Torrecelli. The dems must really be in trouble when the media commies won't even mention a story that will make them look bad. That deep bias is why I continue to maintain that in the 2000 election coverage, the media intentionally declared Florida for PanderAl knowing it wasn't true in the hope of countering Nader's possible effect on the flaming leftists in California.

Good for Brokaw. According to the Media Research Center, NBC, including Brokaw, was the only broadcast news to tell the truth about the Daschle tantrum.
