Those are Governor Bush's own words in our title this month. "We're on the right track." referring to the great job his administration has done
And, without stadium size hand gestures, the Governor did an excellent job in the first debate, and congrats to everyone at Free Republic who contributed to the Live Debate Thread. It's a whopper!
After I write a few words, it's going to take awhile for me to post photos. Jump in at any time if you feel like being first today and add your favorite pictures, political cartoons and someone PLEASE post the McBridisms. Not everyone has seen those yet.
A HANDY reference
On the most important issue
"If I were governor, I would have made prescription drug benefits my number-one priority."
"The most important thing is to have your vote counted."
"Well, there's nothing more important than to ensure that everyone is treated fairly."
"Pivoting back to the most crucial issue, and that is whether we're going to invest in our kids to keep them in an education environment"
"I think more importantly the question is just what this is all about."
Mr. Bill McBride endorses Jeb's record against crime:
"I support the law enforcement officers of Florida. And we've done a good job over the last several years, trying to reduce crime rates and making sure that Florida is safe for people like my mom and dad, who still live in Florida, and my son and daughter, and our family."

McBride's platform for Florida Agriculture:
"My freshman year in college, I went back and got a job picking oranges with a crew from Barbados, and this one guy wasn't a good worker. He would put his ladder in the tree and let a lot of fruit go on the ground, except when the boss came around. He would jump down and pick up all his fruit."
McBrides Thoughts about the Universe
"We need to start viewing Florida as one."
"It's the way I believe in my heart, that everybody will follow."
"There is profiling that goes on. I know that a lot of people are working on this."
"I think more importantly the question is just what this is all about."
[liked this one so much, it made the list twice]
"People having trouble, join me with this."
:o)
Attendance was estimated to be over 1,000. The www.sptimes.com reported at "over 500". Not exactly accurate reporting.
Further, I think we are in for a compressed year 2000. The McBride is openly challenging the way the first debate ws moderated. Please visit www.sptimes.com to read the article about the Women's Rally last night and on the same page, an article re: the McBride camp saying the moderator was "for Jeb".
ARE THEY TRYING TO TURN THE DEBATE INTO THE FIRST CONTROVERSY OF THE ELECTION TO KEEP McB's LACK OF KNOWLEDGE ON MANY ISSUES FROM COMING OUT?
Is there any doubt that the democrat party are still a bunch of sore losers? Even when they lose fair and square? LOL
Why don't we just call him "McB" because it's easier to type? What do you think?
Summer, could you give out the Jebwear url so that teachers can check there to see if they went ahead and printed up Teachers for Jeb shirts? I imagine they'd get right on it.
Or, teachers should keep calling County Headquarters and see if they've gotten any shirts locally.
Great ideas start at Free Republic.
ON BEHALF OF FREE REPUBLIC, we are in a freepathon cycle. I am pledging something to Free Republic as soon as I have a free minute. Let's support Jim Robinson's great idea too!!!
Obviously, they weren't greeted with doom and gloom rhetoric central to 'Rat rallies.
I'll always remember saying The Pledge of Allegiance" with Governor Bush, First Lady Columba and First Lady Laura.
One correction: Former Governor Bob Martinez and his wife were in attendance. I sometimes confuse Bob Martinez and Mayor Greco. Anyway, I talked to former Governor Martinez's wife for a few minutes without realizing it at the time. She is similar in appearance to Mayor Greco's wife too. Mrs. Martinez was pleased to learn that there were women from Pinellas County there.
RADIO DEBATE NEWS: It's going to be at 11:00 a.m. from Universal Studios on October 15th? I think that's VERY STRANGE. It will be interesting to see what the McB Camp says about having a debate when many Floridians will be at work. I'll let you know (intel from FV).
Florida dems aren't opening their pocketbooks and they hit him hard in the letters to the editor due to his poor debating style and lack of content. He can't improve - there's no time.
Many Florida dems are coming over to the Jeb side. They are on the right track. I hope McB enjoyed seeing Jeb every half hour last night on Bay News 9. I sure did. Bay News 9 is no longer McB's private channel. LOL
Bush Campaign Unveils Women for Jeb Coalition
Women from all walks of life have joined the Women for Jeb coalition in another example of the growing support for Governor Jeb Bush and Lt. Governor Frank Brogan. Announced at a rally with First Lady Laura Bush, the coalition includes Democrat, Republican and Independent women from all across Florida.
