Bush 'stole election and poisoned democracy'
Madrid - US actress Jessica Lange says she "hates" President George Bush's administration and regards a possible attack on Iraq as "unconstitutional, immoral and illegal", Spanish press reports said on Thursday.
The 53-year-old Oscar-winning actress lambasted the US government at a press conference at the San Sebastian film festival, where she received a lifetime achievement award.
"What Bush intends to do with Iraq is unconstitutional, immoral and illegal," Lange was quoted as saying.
"I hate Bush. I despise him and his entire administration - not only because of its international policy, but also the national. Today it makes me feel ashamed to come from the United States - it is humiliating."
'The atmosphere in my country is poisonous' "Bush stole the elections and since then we have all been suffering the consequences. The Iraq plan is absolutely mad, but what I do not understand is that nobody tries to stop it - neither inside nor outside the United States," the actress added.
"The atmosphere in my country is poisonous, intolerable for those of us who are not right-wing, so thank you for inviting me to this festival and allowing me to get out for a few days," Lange said on receiving the Donostia Prize, presented by Spanish actor Jose Coronado.
She also slammed Hollywood and said she preferred to work in Europe. - Sapa-DPA
I know, because I had posted one and there were 194 total.
Now there are 192.
Comments I have deleted posts from this message board regarding Jessica's comments in Spain. I will however leave them on the forum, provided that they are left in a civil manner open for discussion for others.

Notice: Kristin admits to removing messages. She did not bother to delete the pro-Spain comments so Kristin has lied.
.........But just once give in to your true nature and perform fellatio on a 100 foot gorilla, and your career goes to hell!!!!!!!!!!!
I also discussed briefly the 2000 election saying that I lamented to have to discuss such an issue at this date but some people won't give it a rest (a reference to her speech).
I also suggested that if she was that outraged with America, perhaps she should move to Spain, channel the spirit of Franco, and have her own little dictatorship.
p.s. My favorite movie was Frances The Talking Mule.
Mine was:
Jess, Jess, Jess.
When will you limousine liberals understand that the vast majority of Americans do not share your quasi-Marxist views, and that we don't really care what you think about politics?
Why don't you and Alec Baldwin move to North Korea, since you hate the United States so much? I am sure "Dear Leader" will be happy for you two to film his Stalinist propaganda.
Until then,
HAVE A NICE CUP OF SHUT THE #$@%! UP!
Yeah, right. It is okay for her to trash our leadership while in another country and to trash the town that provided her a venue for fame and fortune but Heaven forbide someone criticize her. Tell me she isn't job hunting from Hollywood or anyone else who'd put up with her nonsense.
And of course, she's a great moral, social, intellectual and legal mind, right? [rolling eyes]
Why do we even give these play-acting hacks the time of day? (BTW, what's the last thing of note this wench even ACTED in?)
But, more importantly, what does Shelley Hack think of the situation?
(Americans have no idea how to go forward without her input.)
