Funny that the NEW YORK TIMES is surgically removing Bill Clinton and Terry McAuliffe's direct ties to and White House pamperings of David Chang -- especially now when there is a clear attempt to smear NJ businessman's credibility. In order to look quasi-objective, the TIMES has painted this story in the WACKY CHINESE GUY SAID, SENATOR SAID context.

The strategy seems to be a sorta 'modified, limited hangout', if you will, where Torch's scandal becomes New Jersey-bound and does not bleed into the Democrat's overall political machinery.

Considering the NY TIMES own timeline (albeit one that is two years old and missing from it's current Chang pieces) it's hard not do see it in the full context of the Democratic Party and its highly corrupt/quid pro quo fundraising operation.

Thanks for the post. Most, if not all, of the media have been leaving out Chang's ties to Bubba. It's not hard to see why.

I still want to know why Chang is the one who in jail.

This really isn't a rhetorical question.

If Chang was committing illegal acts that have been adjudicated as sufficient to send him to prison, then there *must* have been people who were on the other side of those acts who are at least equally guilty. More guilty, imo. You can't get an A without there being a B.

I'm obviously talking about Torricelli here, but it could be anybody.

Why does Chang go to the slammer while the other person walks?

I don't consider this system of justice to be a system of justice.

This Times timeline conveniently missed the fact that the feds have Torricelli dead to rights on felony tax evasion. See the third link below for details on that, in "Death as a Political Strategy."
