Franklin Graham bump. We need more people rubbing the general public's noses in the truth.

America is not being "Islamicized."

I'm really disappointed in Franklin Graham. Unlike his father, who spoke of Christ and Him crucified, Franklin is running down another belief.

The antidote to Islam is Christianity, and Franklin would do better to proclaim the Gospel.

Can you dispute any of the facts in Graham's statements? Where have you been for the last year? I know I've spent a fair amount of time learning about this warped, tyrannical, dictatorial political system that's masquerading as a religion and demanding we all submit.

I think you need to read the Bible a little more carefully. Here is what Paul said about beliefs of others who weren't Christians:
I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel-- 7which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! 9As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!
Galatians 1:6-9

8Formerly, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those who by nature are not gods. 9But now that you know God--or rather are known by God--how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable principles? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again?
--Galatians 4:8,9

11Brothers, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished. 12As for those agitators, I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves!
--Galatians 5:11,12
Here is what Jude said:
12These men are blemishes at your love feasts, eating with you without the slightest qualm--shepherds who feed only themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted--twice dead. 13They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever.
Here is what Jesus had to say about those who refused to acknowledge his authority:
42Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now am here. I have not come on my own; but he sent me. 43Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. 44You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! 46Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don't you believe me? 47He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God."
--John 8:42-47

But note that the good Muslim professor does not deny the core of the challenge: Islam is free to do anything it wants in the USA, up to and including destroying the WTC and killing 2,500 people, while the Word of God, much less any Christian expression, will not be tolerated in Saudi or other Muslim nations.

Keith Parks, formerly a missionary in Indonesia and head of the Southern Baptist Foreign Mission Board (until 1992) has said that Islamization is about preaching tolerance (of different religions as we have in the USA) until such time as Muslims are the majority at which time they insist on Sharia law and impose Islam on everyone by force.

This very thing is happening in Nigeria and Malaysia and other countries.

Go Franklin go!

Will I think the USA IS being islamacized, I hear you on the contrast between Franklin and his Dad.

What I think is very sad, is that there are not many churches making serious efforts to evangelize the muslims here in the US. This population is young, curious, looking for a way to blend "conservative" values with liberty and not captive to political tyranny. What an opportunity. And we are missing it.

The antidote to Islam is Christianity, and Franklin would do better to proclaim the Gospel.

And he most assuredly is proclaiming the Gospel.

World Medical Mission

The motivation behind all our efforts is to go and "heal the sick who are there and tell them, 'The kingdom of God is near you'"

World Medical Mission, the medical ministry of Samaritan's Purse, is working to improve such conditions and offer these patients a far greater hope—the eternal healing of the Great Physician, Jesus Christ. We provide evangelical mission hospitals and clinics with the resources they need— equipment, supplies, and Christian physicians and biomedical technicians—to treat their patients while standing as a shining witness of God's love through Jesus Christ. Wherever we serve, the Gospel is faithfully presented through hospital chaplains, Christian literature, films, audio tapes, and other means.

World Medical Mission was founded in 1978, when two surgeon brothers, Drs. Lowell and Richard Furman, approached Franklin Graham and expressed their desire to volunteer for a short-term assignment in a mission hospital during their vacation. Not wanting to duplicate efforts, Franklin researched the field for other organizations that might already be involved in this work. To his surprise, there were none. While still a student in college, Franklin accepted the challenge to lead this organization, and World Medical Mission was born.

Today, we assist scores of mission hospitals and clinics in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. In 2001, we sent more than 263 physicians on short-term assignments to 32 hospitals and clinics located in 28 countries. We also traveled to 9 countries installing or repairing critically needed equipment, and we shipped more than $2 million worth of medical supplies and equipment to hospitals in 60 countries.

The motivation behind all our efforts is to go and "heal the sick who are there and tell them, 'The kingdom of God is near you'" (Luke 10:9, NIV). In remote areas around the world, missionary medicine is one of the most effective means of evangelism available. Each year the hospitals we serve are used by God to lead thousands of people to faith in Jesus Christ.

"By their fruits you shall know them."
