SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Former Democratic presidential candidate Al Gore came out strongly on Monday against any "precipitous" U.S. attack on Iraq, saying the Bush administration has embarked on a dangerous course that could alienate allies and derail the war on terror.
"If you are going after Jesse James you ought to organize the posse first," Gore said in a speech to the Commonwealth Club of California.
He added, 'We should focus first and foremost on our top priority -- winning the war against terrorism."
In one of the strongest Democratic broadsides yet launched against U.S. moves toward an attack on Iraq, Gore said such an attack would cost American taxpayers "hundreds of billions of dollars," leave Iraq dangerously unstable and destroy the international goodwill the United St

I thought it interesting today when Gore said that a new UN resolution was not needed the one from 1991 was still legally good. See, Gore does know controlling legal authority when he sees it.

Al didn't have any qualms about bombing Yugoslavia*.
*What was the reason for that again?
As a matter of fact, it was Al's job to call the Russians and tell them to go home and not bother making a last minute appeal not to attack Yugoslavia.

This guy is dumber than what he portrays... a friggin wooden stump, with a brain a fire hydrant. Like most democratic politicians, he's a urine attractant.

If the U.S. wins the Iraq war with low casualties, he looks like an idiot. That asshole has looked like an idiot from the day he was conceived.

Jesse James was killed by a lone gunman in a "pre-emptive" strike. Well there you go. Al doesn't even know his western history.

In a few months, when Sadaam is overthrown and our enemies are scurrying under the rocks throughout the middle east, Al Gore is going to appear the monumental fool there's ever been.
The only person who will be dense enough to miss it will be ol' woody himself.

what's up with his hair curl drooping down his brow? He's going for that Christopher Reeve Superman look... except he is turning into Fat Albert again!
Anyone have a link to the transcript of that speech? It's a keeper!

Oh! "International goodwill". Does he mean the kind of goodwill we observe from Germany, France, and the Islamic states? The goodwill emanating from the UN (United Nothings;Ultra Nitwits;Unstrung Ninnies; Unsound Nincompoops--take your pick)?
Please, someone somewhere, explain how so many visually adult people can act so juvenile about Gore and the Dems.
Thank God the grownups are running the country, now.

LOL!
I'm glad they got jobs, but don't believe I'd trust the dumb sumbeech on the left with the keys. Could poke himself in the eye or somewhere else painful!
Seriously, whenever Gore (or any leftie for that matter) starts to run off at the mouth like this, let him have his say. They just prove the old saying once again that if your opponent wants to make an arse of himself, don't interrupt!
These Dims just don't understand that you can't dig yourself out of a hole! Keep shoveling, Al!
