Thought you guys would not want to miss the algore trying to upstage President Bush in whatever way he can. Join in and have your say! LOL!
"I'm a fool, yes sir-ee
"I sold out back in ninety-three!
I won't play safe for you and me
'Cause I'm a fool"
And don't forget who Jiminy helps out.
By attacking the first Bush for pulling out in 1991, Gore's arguing that we should have ignored the text of the U.N. resolutions and the promises Bush made domestically and overseas to limit the war to the liberation of Kuwait. The test of the resolutions and congressional debates is easily accessible. And that gives GWB the opportunity to say that one of the reasons Saddam is still in power is because of the promises extracted by a reluctant Senate in 1990.
And it's going to be fun to see how he explains his current position in light of the Security Council and Senate resolutions passed in 1998, while he was Vice-President. Bush hasn't really had the right moment to break out all those lovely Dem quotes from 1998, but Gore just handed it to him on a silver platter. Thanks, Al.
Is this the new Algore (Ver 8.7) ? What was he wearing ? What color is his clothing ? What does his hair look like ? How much does he weigh ?
However, I did get to see the President this morning and he was great! All fired up and sticking it to the Senate!
Gore is indeed a gasbag, as was said just above your post, and no one wants to listen to him for more than 5 minutes! (Bill Press excepted, of course.)
Looking forward to Blair's day in the sun tomorrow. Ha!
Time to go through archives and search engines looking for their quotes! I intend to be armed and ready!

Miss Marple, I wish you could have seen gore's speech and then compared it with the President's!!! It was night and day! I can't begin to tell you. If gore ends up the nominee for the RATS, President Bush will utterly destroy him!
The war with Iraq will be over in one year.
By the summer of 2003, we will have dispatched Saddam into the Nether Regions.
It will be at this time that the economy should be picking up big time for the following year. Bush's tax relief package will ameliorate some of the overheated spending that occured this year, as interest rates will continue to remain relatively low.
People will vote their pocketbooks in 2004. They will not be voting on the war. What the Democrats will not be able to argue is that Bush is "inexperienced" (and a drunk). That was their greatest weapon against him in 2000, as we saw with the popular vote totals. Now the people feel comfortable with him as they would a good pair of shoes.
People don't fire Presidents simply because Democrats tell them to. It was, is, and will remain, the economy as the determinant of our fortunes at the polls. Period.
Be Seeing You,
Chris
