The title pretty much says it all. The question is, "Do you believe that over the next 10 years Europe will become the next superpower?" Since this is the European edition of Newsweek, it should be fun to Freep the numbers way down. Click here to vote. The poll's on the right-hand side of the page.

"Eurasia is the enemy. Eurasia has always been the enemy."

As others might say - BWAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA! But seriously though, here is a suggestion for Urinope if they want to be a superpower. Start by invading Zimbabwe with a multi-nation force and stop the ethnic cleansing of the whites. Then kill all black communists and socialists. Begin once again the age old practice of exploiting an African Nation and taking their natural resources to begin building up their treasuries. That is their only real hope, since America continues to support their economies and political futures by confronting the tough enemies of our times.

Do you believe that over the next 10 years Europe will become the next superpower? Only if the Beatles don't get back together.

Not no but HELL NO! Sorry for the H word.

Not as long as they continue to espouse liberal agendas. The growing environmentalist movement alone will remove any chance for prosperity. (BTW, tomorrow is some kind of "no cars" day across many European cities. Nice.)
I vote NO.

Europe can not get together long enough to even prop up their Euro. They all hate each other over there. No way will they ever be a superpower.

China will be a super-power before Europe. They can't even unite their air traffic control.

The harder question: Is Europe's slow but seemingly unstoppable decline in our interest?
If things keep getting worse then Europe will be ripe pickings for a new totalitarian ideology, probably Islam.
Not a pleasant prospect.

It is more likely that Europe will be taken over by third world people long before it has a chance to become a superpower.

We have yet to even see recationary nationalist movements across the countries of europe. It will happen and it could be taken by the right or even more left groups. No way in hell will all of those nations come together as one let alone be able to be another "superpower".

I am hoping for the EU to implode.
