Li'l Katie Couric & Matty Lauer are appearing on Donahue tonight at 8.
Undoubtedly, the Three Stooges of the Left will stick their feet in their mouths, babble incoherently and drool uncontrollably at every mention of the word "Clinton".

Oh good grief! It is one big p.r. machine for the Clintons.
Could landPhil's lips be pressing any harder against Kootie's and Mutt's backsides?
Now, they are making Hillary into the poor put-upon victim!
To: Fintan
They just showed the famous Lauer interview with Hillary right after the Lewinsky story broke, when she coined the famous phrase "vast right wing conspiracy."
Donahue actually says: "I could never understand the uproar over her using the term vast right wing conspiracy. . . . I actually think she was right!"
In fairness to Lauer, he says: "she said some things that in light of subsequent events she probably regrets having said."
To: McGruff
What other expression do you expect, given that she's on a show with ratings in the toilet?
To: governsleastgovernsbest
Sounds like another one of those .1 rating nights for good ole Phil! Its so good to see he earns the bottom of the barrel!

Lauer was just trying to make her into the poor put-upon victim. He's an idiot.

ANN COULDN'T ANSWER A QUESTION BECAUSE BLOVIATOR WOULDN'T SHUT UP TO LET HER! ARGH!
To: Laverne
How about those gestures! And, here I thought no one could act more like a monkey on crack than James Carville.
To: McGruff
There is no "I" in team.

Ha! Poor ol' Katie had to remind Ann, and the audience, that she was in charge of the interview.

I didn't really read it that way. Believe me, I have no use for either Katie or Matt (see my numerous posts about their shenanigans).
But both of them said something along lines "we'll never know just what she knew when she made the statements she did to Matt." In other words, they were leaving open the possibility that she was flat-out lying to him. Donohue was defending Hillary to the end, and saying she was right in what she said to Matt, but he wasn't.

OMG....this is sickening to watch.

You know, as much as I detest Donohue, this is always pathetic. His show is such a ratings disaster that he is forced to grovel on his hands and knees before the successful morning duo.
I almost expect him to throw him self on the ground, wrap his arms around their ankles and plead: "save me! Save me Matt & Katie. Come on, whatever you says goes with the bosses. Save me, pl-uh-e-e-e-e-ese!"
To: Fintan
Phil says Matt's infant son is so lucky because he has such "enlightened parents."

My suggestion for MSNBC to boost their ratings in the 8-9 PM slot would be to show "Legends of Bowling" reruns. |
And, Katie & Matt are "journalists"???????????????

A caller asked whether there is a political bias to the show.
Katie actually said: "We strive to ask a variety of people tough questions. Our job is to ask really tough questions of everyone and be the devil's advocate. To ask more conservative questions of a liberal guest and vice versa."
Yeah, right.

Or to be polite, a love-in. But it's really only going in one direction. Donohue is desperately trying to suck up to Katie and Matt, while they can sit back and be cool about things. I haven't heard them bending over backwards to praise him.
