I am thinking the numbers in the rural counties are going to look even better tonight. Many ballots not tallied yet.

I agree on the national issues. The new unemployment numbers for Washington State should also bring Bairds in-effectiveness to the forefront.

Washington took the lead as the state with the highest un-employment.

I think the sorry state of our state's economy -- a powerful case can be made that it is the worst economy in the entire nation -- will play big in many elections at the state and maybe even national level.

It'll be hilarious to see Rats try and blame the state's economy on Bush - his tax cuts did it, his tax cuts did it!!!

Maybe the small business owners and retailers here can finally get some traction over the sales and B&O taxes. You bleed the golden goose long enough, eventually it dies.
