Just sent Linda an email thanking her for not giving us a "Larry King puff piece" interview and for slapping down their lies.

My e-mail to FOX:
Excellent, as always. Linda is a master of her game. One point, I don't recall that Stone ever claimed that she heard the men speaking Arabic. The three men are now saying she claimed this, and are refuting her by claiming they have no common language but English. The men are thus implying Stone is fabricating her account.
I can't recall Stone ever claiming the men spoke Arabic. To the contrary, I recall her interview in which she made clear that the men spoke English well. Might be worth looking into.
Keep up the good work!

In an FR thread about their neighbors I read that they had gone over there for several weeks obstensively "to study Islam". Sorry but I don't remember the title of the thread. Perhaps someone else can pinpoint it.

I think you may be confusing this with the Lackawana 5 (now 6).

Well, lets have that mother on TV, to talk about how carefully she packed that car! LOL!Oh, she's been on some already, she was on the cnn interview on Friday (or I could have seen it locally in Chicago, but one or the other, can't be sure now). What an attitude, just as bad as her daughter. We were treated to quite an earful with those two. But I guess she hadn't had time yet to coordinate the trunk story yet with that lug son of hers.

I think she may be confusing these guys with the 6 captured in 'Lackawana' or Buffalo, NY.

Sometime, on a slow news day, we need a thread on excuses we give our families on why dinner is always late and nothing seems to get done around the house.....my family knows what I do all day...LOL

What FANTASY about Linda Vester was going through their collective minds during the interview?
To: pettifogger
oops I think you are right. Thanks so much. There're are so many of them that I'm getting dizzy.

Can you refer me to a source that talks about where the information about their 'admissions' came from?I've been asking the same for two days and, although at least a dozen so people here have claimed that the men have admitted to yanking Eunice's chain, no one has been able to provide anything to back that up.

"...or plenty of time for the second car to 'dump something' before re-joining their friends..."
The FDLE searched the sides of the highway before it was reopened just in case that had been done.

I agree- I only heard Eunice say they spoke perfect English. She said this on different interviews- clearly mentioning how good their English was, and not once did I hear her mention that they spoke any other language.

I sent them the following email:
Thanks to Linda Vester for doing her usual great job interviewing the three medical students and one of their lawyers.
The only thing I wish to point out is they claimed Eunice Stone said she overheard them speaking in Arabic.
I do not think this a correct assertion. Please review Mrs. Stone's statements where she said they spoke English. I do not recall ever hearing her say she heard anything other than English. If that is correct, these medical students are embellishing or outright lying in order to paint Mrs. Stone as a lying bigot.
Please review what you have and inform your audience if the allegation that Mrs. Stone said she heard them speaking in Arabic is true or not.

"And if she heard words in Arabic or that might be Arabic and said so, one of the fellows (Mr. Beardguy) DOES speak fluent Arabic. "
What are the odds that a random Georgia lady in a restaurant would be able to recognize spoken Arabic? None. Nil. Zip.
What are the odds that all three of these "Medical Students" recognize spoken Arabic. 100% How can I be so sure? First, while in libya as a young man I studied Classical Arabic. Since that has been a long time ago, I don't think I would recognize more than a half dozen words of Arabic spoken in a conversational manner. As to the other proposition that they could all understand spoken Arabic, I recently spent just over a year working with Middle Easterners, from Africa, such as Sudanese,Nigerians, Egyptians and a few other countries in the region, and people from Pakistan,Afghanistan and India. ALL of them had a working knowledge of arabic.

A helpful trick: AOL always lists how long you have been on line when you sign off. My husband used to come home and switch to his screen name and see something like "You have been on line 489 minutes."
I always sign off and re-log on in the afternoon. That way there is no PROOF! (I have also learned speed-cleaning! HA!)
To: Howlin
First, the Georgia Lady was lying, now it's a "mis-understanding". Next it will be just a "Joke". Finally, hey this is USA, I have the right to exercise free speach, and Eunice is a bigot.
