Comments.
I know she speaks Farsi, she probably knows arabic too. She must have thrown them at the beginning of interview when she greeted them with "salaam aleikam" in a perfect (to my ears) accent!
It's public, the county board of elections where they are registered has that info.
Linda: So, the police are lying when they said you were uncooperative?
Lawyer (interrupting): Capped One knew he had rights and did not originally consent to car search. Insisting on rights is uncooperative?
ME: NO, DUMMY that was not the question! -- and Linda did not get a chance to follow up on this -- Capped One claims he agreed to answer any question, the cops reported that they were "uncooperative" Car search was not even mentioned until the lawyer butted in.
I haven't been too active lately - but - I have been lurking quite a bit. I hope to be able to get back into the swing of things again. :))
I would suspect the video recording equipment at the Media Research Center has been rolling non-stop since this incident began, and, at some point, we are going to see a video sequence of contradicting statements that should be interesting, at the very least.
I know some on here feel the same way, but if "700" cops pulled me over, and then the bomb squad and dogs and FBI all are there...I think I'd let 'em search....
Same in New York. But the guy seemed awfully sure that the car was "waiting for HIM", wasn't he?
Sorta like when I was speeding along the highway, and a cop car pulled out of his hiding place, and started following me with the siren on.
"@$%#!! That cop was WAITING there for me!"
And none of them looks like the brightest bulb in the light socket, do they? How would you like one of these mopes as your doc? Yikes.
Northwest Georgia's sure seen its share of media attention this year: the "rack 'em stack 'em crematory" up the road in Noble, now this.
And this Shoney's was right across the street from where you were staying :-) We go there all the time when we're in Calhoun.
LOL! Good one. Wonder if they had bacon with their pancakes.
I prefer Waffle House, myself.
I'm sorry the sentence I wrote wasn't very clear. My wording "this couldn't be" was a characterization of the three med students saying only one of them speaks Arabic so it would be impossible for Eunice to have overheard them speaking in Arabic.
Here's the point:
Eunice NEVER said she heard them speaking in Arabic. She has always said she heard English only.
Why are these guys either embellishing their story or outright lying?
Because they did - at least the guy in beard and hat. (By the way, is Shoney's "halal"? May God forgive their sins!)
They are cocky and superior, and think they are above inspection, especially now that liberal guilt is on their side, and the CAIR lawyers have jumped at glee at the chance of face time.
IMHO, when the first stories came out, I was in the "who knows?" sort of opinion. But they're cockiness and superiority after their release proved to me that they did do this as a joke, and now they're lying about it.
Anyone know the story about going down to Miami for med school? Why did they so quickly give that one up?
