[history]
A gentleman just announced on FOXNEWS that the three medical students who made the 9-11 jokes that were overheard by a lady in Georgia will be appearing on Larry King later this week. He stated that this is the wrong message to send in the war on terrorism, and that the woman (Eunice) should receive a call from the President thanking her for being vigilant.
[NOTE: I corrected the information- originally this was posted saying they would be on Letterman, which is not the case. Thanks, AM]

I think we're all understandably a little tense about this situation.
It is just all too believable that these jerks would be on either L.K. or Letterman.
However, reading the contents, I am sure that Gary just was making the remark in the generic content of the fact that these guys will get a lot of media time and publicity on the liberal media while the woman who did her patriotic duty will be vilified by same.
But it can't hurt to put the stations on notice that we would not be pleased if they actually did air these guys.

So it's an appearance on Larry King first for this bunch. I thought Donahue would have been the first to jump on this - Oh, that's right NOBODY watches his show! What was I thinking?

So I gather they really will be on Larry King? I agree, this is the wrong message to send.
I was just watching Fox talking about how the American Muslim community had been a big help in breaking up the Lackawanna cell. Then they brought on a Muslim American to talk about that help they say the muslims here are giving the authorities. Just as I was starting to feel better, he began a diatribe about American "paranoia" vis a vis Eunice Stone and the 3 "All-American" medical students and the awful ordeal they had to go through. He called Mrs. Stone something, maybe a "racist"? To his credit, the interviewer (Jon Scott?) wouldn't let him get away with it, though the muslim spokesman was smirking throughout the rebuke. They both got back on topic, but I was so disgusted, I switched it off. He had a good chance for some positive American muslim publicity, but he really blew it!

I was just watching Fox talking about how the American Muslim community had been a big help in breaking up the Lackawanna cell. I read about this help. Then today on the segment of FoxNews I watched, they said it was information from another terrorist in custody in another country that led the authorities to these men in New York.
Sounds like the Moslem community weren't really the ones to report this terrorist cell afterall.

Well, let's hope they can get their stories straight. When they were first interviewed at the Rest Stop last Friday, they said they had been talking about their semester in Miami. Now I guess they're saying they were talking about a car. Their excuses are beginning to sound an awful lot like O.J.'s defense. They're lying through their teeth.

Don't believe for a minute that the Muslim community assisted the bust of the terror cell in New York. Notice that the details of how they helped are simply missing in all media reports. And then notice that the Muslims are happy to speak about how they are helping while trying to defend their three cheating, lying fellow muslims in the Florida event. The fact all muslims have defended the actions of the florida muslims is all I need to know.

Then they brought on a Muslim American to talk about that help they say the muslims here are giving the authorities.Saw this also. It was a (male) rep from the American Muslim Council, spewing the same old line with a new twist, i.e., using the supposed "cooperation" of Muslims in the Lackawanna case to generalize that "all" Muslims have been cooperating with the FBI since 9/11, and the incident in Florida is therefore a viscious, racist lie, solely because they are certain no one but Eunice Stone and her son overheard the little joke by, in his words, "three All-American boys."
While it's a safe bet that none of these so-called "cooperative Muslims" in Lackawanna will be stepping forward to claim credit for fear of retribution from Muslims, Eunice is now a sitting duck in the "he said/she said" war of words.
Get used to it; this will be the new Maalox Muslim moment.

These guys need a cowboy boot in the butt.

Letterman, Larry King. I guess all those stories about the backlash suffered by Muslim-Americans must be true.

Yep. And just saw the FBI saying "zero tolerance" for any crimes against muslim people in the Lackawanna community. In other words, make threats against us, go on Larry King. Make threats against them -- go straight to jail. That sounds fair.

Yes, I can believe it. Larry King will do anything for
ratings. Now, we will have all the softball questions ,
they are hard working med students. Who is paying for all this education? The sister of one said she is also a med student. I think we should all write CNN.
To: Faithfull
I don't believe they helped either. IMO this is just
a little more PC coverage to ease any hurt the community
may be feeling. Boo Hoo.

That was in the movie "What's Up Doc" with Ryan O'Neal, Babs Streisand, and Madeline Kahn.
