Meet Maryam Massihi. The 21-year-old hooker recently stole political consultant Bob Beckel's heart--at least for a few hours, at $300 per. Then Massihi (who used the names Tiffany and Cindy professionally) and her cohorts allegedly tried to extort $50,000 in hush money from the Democratic heavyweight (he ran Walter Mondale's 1984 presidential campaign). Beckel's recent run-in with Massihi & Co. is detailed in this search warrant affidavit filed August 23 in Alexandria, Virginia's Circuit Court. Beckel discovered his young consort via the Internet (Massihi's electronic come-on is below) and paid her by check, which proved helpful when cops began probing who was trying to shake down the 53-year-old Beckel. With Massihi currently imprisoned and facing extortion and conspiracy charges, her D.C. answering machine message needs an update: "Hi. I'll be back around September. Thank you." (6 pages)

A Ping for Draft-Dodging Bob...couldn't happen to a nicer guy...
As for tiffany looking chunky, that remains to be seen: you need better camera angles.

How's it hanging
Robert Beckel
you will be so fun to heckle
You were seeking out some action
you are lucky your wife's not put you in traction
You were surfing
evening's boring
Tiffany showed off her whoring
She was dressed provocatively
lately your thing had been seeming rather shrively
An appointment you were setting
would there be some heavy petting
At three hundred bucks an hour
you were hoping something would rise like a tower
She arrived and got right to it
oh, yes, Robert
she could do it
You need more than electoral
she would teach you a few tricks about things oral
So you paid six hundred dollars
and your neighbors heard you holler
It was great
but if your wife found out she surely would be quite irate
Just one night's not satisfying
I want more, you started crying
She came back
it's thirteen hundred bucks for Tiffy in the sack
Wait a minute
she's been writing
suddenly it's not exciting
Fifty thousand she's demanding
and the problem for you really is expanding
You had fallen to temptation
now prepare for litigation
But it gets much more exquisite
you heard your wife say Ms. Bobbitt's gonna visit

$300 an hour? For that? He must be really desperate. Pitiful.

Guess Beckel has the same kind of special room, that billclinton said he had on Letterman-where he goes and just blows .

This is sadly enlightening: Here is a story about corruption, crime, hypocrisy, sleaze, and all of you have spent time oogling the photos, then using the excuse of "comparing them to your girlfriends," and complaining about the criminal's LOOKS (in your bug-eyes) and not the crimes. You may be Freepers, but you are also pigs.

"You may be Freepers, but you are also pigs."
And you are an idiot. This story has been covered numerous times before here, and Beckel has been raked over the coals. But you didn't bother to look, did you? Stupid is as stupid does...

can't even trust a call girl. I thought there was honor among thieves? Oh, not liberal or Arabic ones.

Beckel's photos have been posted on FR in regard to this, which was the point of my post #26. Do an FR search and you'll see. (Barf alert, he's a real pig.)

I am not personally familiar with negotiating prostitution, but it stuns me that Beckel actually paid $1,900 for so little. It also stuns me that he told her he was going to be on TV. it also stuns me that a pimp would have a vanity license plate that reads "SOPAFLY". Okay, that last one doesn't really stun me. But still ...

Dem Op Bob Beckel grapples with Arianna "ex-wife of now-gay onetime California senatorial candidate Michael" Huffington.
As you can see, the left-side blowhard is rather obese. This may have something to do with the rather passive nature of the sexual activities described by TheSmokingGun.com.
Here's a recent Beckel update from http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/tribune-review/opinion/s_90203.html.
PROSTITUTION SHAKEDOWN ENDS CONSULTANT'S CAREER. Bob Beckel's political career is over. Even he admits that. The Democrat campaign consultant and frequent guest on political talk shows said he's giving up politics in the aftermath of a scandal involving a prostitute and two cohorts who tried to shake him down for $50,000.
"I think I need to go and start over with something else," Beckel told the congressional newspaper Roll Call. "It's getting close to the time to fold up my political tent."
According to a police affidavit, Beckel contacted an escort service and had sex with a 20-year-old prostitute named Tiffany. Beckel paid the woman $300 an hour for "massages," according to police. Later, Beckel received a message demanding $50,000 and warning him that his blackmailers had photos as well as an audio tape of him soliciting sex.
Beckel, who managed the ill-fated presidential campaign of Walter Mondale, told Roll Call that he had frequented prostitutes in the past. "I was a bachelor for 42 years before getting married," he said. "Did I use my share of escort services? Yes."
Beckel is divorced. He teaches a class in politics at George Washington University called Campaign Management and Strategy. Wonder if spin control is part of the curriculum?
Personally, I find this story to be a howler. This is/was a professional left propagandist. He and his kind have done major damage to society, in the process smearing many honorable people. Why feel sorry for him? This is an appropriate time for a good horselaugh.

Too bad she wasn't a boy. He wouldn't have had to give up his Democrate friends that way. He could of run for congress in Massachusetts. Ted Kennedy would of handled "the problem" differntly.

One interesting aspect of this case that I haven't seen discussed on the various threads:
Beckel made the decision to take this matter to the police, rather than either pay the blackmailers or not pay and take his chances that they wouldn't make good on their threats to reveal his activities.
In doing so, he knew that all the sordid details would become public.
Does Beckel deserve some credit for courage in doing so?
To: PJeffQ
It wasn't so long ago that Blowjob Bob wanted to extort electors votes. The Democratic Crime Syndicate pitchman asked for help from law enforcement? Isn't it moronic?

Credit? Beckel doesn't deserve any credit. Beckel is a sleazy, traitorous pig who ought to be forcobly deported to Cuba to serve his spiritual master- Castro.
Why doesn't he "deserve credit"? Because, he wants to be seen as "the victim". Some whore tries to blackmail the whale and his response is to whine to the cops. If his own pathetic actions aren't seen as a prime source of his troubles, he skates the resonsibility. Bottom-feeders like Beckel and "Tiffany" feed on each other. That's the way of life. Beckel needs to either keep his weiner in his pants or find a normal woman and have a normal relationship with the persuasion of his choice.
Actually, it's hilarious and fitting that Beckel had this 'trouble'. He deserved it.

Thanks for the reply, but according to your former leader, Bill Clinton, sex between two consenting adults is not a crime. So put some ice on it and get a life.

I was infuriated during the 2000 Presidential debacle by Beckel's goal of undermining the Constitution by cajoling electors to switch to Gore.
I do find it interesting though that he chose to take his case to the police, knowing that it would inevitably lead to his public disgrace. Sounds to me that he had been on a self-destructive course for some time.
To: governsleastgovernsbest
I don't see Beckel being disgraced. To those whom it matters, disgrace is a badge of honor. Beckel will always be sought after for his abilities, nefarious though they are. To a Liberal perversion, illegality and amoral behavior is considered normal. The former fornicator-in-chief hasn't suffered very much. Barney Fag is still in Congress, despite having his squeeze running a queer call-boy operation out of his apartment. Kennedy is still in the Senate, despite his alcoholism, skirt chasing and involvement in at least one death. Algore's boy still drives drunk, but Algore hasn't suffered or been called upon as a "bad parent". Tipper is still "tipper" and a reputed drug addict.
Don't cry for Beckel. He's a Liberal. Liberals do will, wallowing in the gutters of American politics.
To: Thumper1960
I agree with much of what you say, but at least in the short run Beckel seems to be paying a price.
An article posted earlier in the thread mentions that as a result of the scandal, Beckel is shutting down his political consulting firm.
Not to get too psychological about this, but I have a gut feeling that in some way Beckel was disgusted with himself and looking to bottom out (no pun intended!) in some way.
