NAPLES, Florida (CNN) --The Georgia woman who prompted Friday's terror scare was "flat-out lying" when she told authorities she overheard three Muslim men at a restaurant laughing about September 11 and making suspicious comments, one of the men said late Friday.

He's been here long enough to know how to use the " race card " and claim " victimhood ".
Who do I believe ? Not him ; that's for sure.

Well, of course she must be lying.
She is a female after all.
And where are the 4 male witnesses needed to back up her claims? </sarcasm>

I thought that they told the police that they were just joking back in Georgia?

When you joke around you shouldn't blow through toll boths and have other people's plates on your car.

Who do I believe ? Not him; that's for sure. This just makes me sick. Sure, a waitress at Shoney's really needs the upheaval in her life.
If these guys are so stupid as to try to pull this one off, they don't deserve to dissect an earthworm. I think they were either serious, or felony stupid. Either way, I believe her.
This is as brazen as a Clinton CYA. Character DOES count!

Well, of course she must be lying. She is a female after all. They misjudge us. It's in the Middle East that a woman is not to be believed - not here!

Asked about his "suggestion" that the woman might have lied, he said, "I'm not suggesting, I'm telling you she's flat-out lying."Why did these three rags run through a turnpike turnstile? Why did trained dogs pick up explosive scents?
These boys are going to be watched, closely, for some time, and for good reason.

"...and have other people's plates on your car." Plates were legal. Some screw up in Illinois.

I saw the woman on FNC. She seemed very sincere.
Something here is fishy. What could the police have been questioning the men about for 16 HOURS? If the men deny the account, that should have cut off the questioning after about 3 minutes.
I know they ran a toll booth, but I did that once many moons ago (it was an 25¢ honor system one) and it took the police about 5 minutes to serve me with a ticket. There must be more to this story that first meets the eye.

Yeah, right.Dollar to a doughnut says the guy is right, Or at the very least the truth is less somewhere between his story and hers.

I thought that they told the police that they were just joking back in Georgia? But that was yesterday! Remember, we Americans have the attention span of a flea!
To quote the quotable John McClain:
"Welcome to the party, pal!"

I believe Eunice. When she was talking on Fox she repeated much of what they said and it didn't sound like she was making it up.
To: katnip
I saw her on O'Reilly. She is not lying.

This sounds like a very well orchestrated media ploy to prevent other tips from being taken so seriously. How can the law enforcement people say they were "joking" and then back off that?

When you joke around you shouldn't blow through toll boths and have other people's plates on your car. Not the brightest of medical students, if this stunt is any indication. Even assuming the woman was 'guilty' of eyeing them with suspicion in the first place, it was very foolish of them to fuel that suspicion (assuming the unelected ACLU $tay$ out of it). Has that story of the license plates been confirmed, I wonder?
