Even if they were just trying to scare Americans, they should be, at the very least, deported.

Actually, there was another story I read - CNN I believe, that said they had medical equipment and were going to a medical function in Miami.

Wires were seen in the back-pack like "package" and it was shot with... I think they said a water-cannon, to "detonate" it... but the wires were part of the medical devices inside.

They also had stolen plates.

They could have just been making those statements because they knew some old lady was eavesdropping.

If that's the case, their stupid sense of humor is plenty enough reason alone to deport them. I felt the same way about Yakoff Smirnoff.

My concern is that they didn't make any direct threats. The conversation could have been:

"The guy in the beard said, 'Do you think we have enough [guys] to bring it [the couch] down [the stairs]?' Then the other guy said, 'If we don't have enough [guys] to bring it down [the stairs], I have contacts that can bring it down.'

But if the're not citizens, deport 'em just for good measure.

Interesting fact. One of these guys has the same last name as the spokesman for Al Queda.

How do you know it was a mistake? What if there was really a threat, or they discovered important infomation by identifying these three? I sure hope that if there were a similar situation that more citizens react just the same.
