Hey, lookie! DrMoonshot's calling me a fool now!
I can't tell you how much better this makes me feel about my view on things....
To: Darlin'
BTW, what does being and former marine have to do with his having been turned ? A rotten one can even sneak into the corp on occasion. You mean like this guy?
To: The Great Satan

Methinks that Ritter wants inspections so badly that he's forgotten
why inspections were needed in the first place. They've become an end unto themselves in his mind.
(The same can be said of the Bush-41 crowd and their we-must-have-a-coalition harping. They want a coalition for the sake of having a coalition.)

Institute for Public Accuracy... The first thing I look for on a Web site like this is; who are they, where are they, who is paying for this message.
Their web site that you referenced answered none of that.
I am beginning to think "Hell No!" is a throwaway phrase Ritter uses to disarm an interviewer when he is getting too close to the truth.

The simplist reason for not trusting Ritter is that he has stabbed two presidents in the back, and has done so with contradictory statements.
We all applauded when he accused clinton of running a flabby inspection program, but now he says it was a flawless program -- that despite all the talk of cheating, nothing got past them.
I don't need a Ph.D. to figure something's wrong. No one can run a perfect inspection program. It ain't possible.

"So, then, you agree that Ritter's right on the money, that all mideastern strife can be laid at the door of the CIA?"
Stop putting words in my mouth.
the CIA started the whole afghan muslim resitance movement and gave the whole impetus to the terror movement.
But dont trust me. Ask Zbignew Brzinski. Go read the Grand Chessboard.
The CIA also created Hussein, backed him, gave him chemical weapons to use in Iran (surprised used them on Kurds?).
Obviuosly there would be strife in the mideast regardless. But in everyone of these situations, we always see the CIA's footprints leading from the crash site. Hussein, Bin-Laden, etc. Its all a game.

Ok, I missed this interview this morning but read this thread.
I put Fox News on as soon as I could as I knew they'd replay parts of it.
They just did.
Shep Smith just had their military analynst, Maj.Gen. Paul Valley on. This is what the Maj.Gen. had to say:
That Scott Ritter has zero credibility after that interview.
That he suspects Ritter may be psycopathic (I am paraphrasing, but he used that word).
That his conduct is borderline treasonous and should be thoroughly investigated.
I say it doesn't sound like Fox's military analyst finds Ritter to be a "patriot".
To: OReilly
Normon Solomon (who is also the head of FAIR)is the head of the Institute for Public Accuracy. More than that I could not find, other than the names Sam Husseini and David Zupan (contacts).
Except that every commie activist site in the country seems to be carrying their press releases. That sets the bell ringing for me. Your mileage may vary...

Please forgive typos as I was stunned while typing.
To: DrLiberty
"Ask Zbignew Brzinski." You lost me forever with those three words.
To: cyncooper
"I say it doesn't sound like Fox's military analyst finds Ritter to be a "patriot"."
I'd say that Fox's military analyst cares about his pension, and knows that you have to always support the party line, or you could be in jeopardy.
Oops, sorry, did I follow the money?
To: Howlin
The thing about Scott Ritter Ritter is that he feels, deep down in his heart, that the whole world revolves around Scott Ritter. Scott Ritter's going to save us all -- whether it's from Saddam Hussein or from George Bush doesn't really matter, as long as he's in the spotlight. Once he got pissed off at his boss, turning him wasn't him very difficult. This old, pre-switch
PBS Frontline interview gives a pretty good feel for the guy's personality. He's a drama queen and a legend in his own mind -- the Marine corps' answer to David Brock.
To: cyncooper
...his conduct is borderline treasonous and That was close enough a near real time translation for me, and yes I agree he is being paid by at least one party with an anti-Bush agenda.

Brzinski admitted that he started the whole thing to get the Soviets to invade Afghanistan.
Obviously facts don't matter to you.
Oh and fyi, you were already lost.

'Gulf War Syndrome' hasn't even been proven to exist. It is credited with causing every illness known to man from herpes, muscle spasms, the flu, torn ligaments and tooth decay.
One of the leading proponents of 'Gulf War Syndrome' is a gal named Rosenberg who has the experience of a teenage girl on a first date with a football player. She too has a bad habit of coming to Iraq's rescue, which is no surprise given that she worked for the Cuban Ministry of Health and spent time 'studying' in Rhodesia, which is something she finds suspicious about other people butr conveniently doesn't mention it about herself. She gets some of her tripe from another idiot who is associated with 'Physicians for a Responsible Society' and a related anti-nuke group which has targetted US scientists for some time on behalf of the Greens. She is also the gal who has tried to finger four US scientists for anthrax, including a guy whose specialty was ebola and another who was just a lab tech now employed at a bowling alley. Real impressive credentials she has- good enough to get in front of congress to testify, which makes everyone ooh and ah over her as an expert even though she hasn't written a serious scientific paper, but then, even Barbara Streisand has testified before Congress as an 'expert.'
Outside of all that, Ritter has taken money from a pro-Iraq lobbyist to make a propaganda film for Iraq, married a Russian arms inspector while he was supposedly on the job, lied on his CIA application, and is an obvious liar here since what he says contradicts his prior testimony. HE was either lying to congress or he's lying now. Either way, he's a liar, only his more recent outbursts are only confirmed by one witness: Saddam Hussein. Testimony of other arms inspectors and Iraqi defectors contradicts his current views.

co-writing a book with somebody over at Democratic Underground Is it that William Pitt guy? He's a total nutcase. I think I have a few screen shots of his rants. Everything from "No military personel should ever obey Bush's orders" to "If Democrats take over Congress, Bill Clinton can become Speaker of the House and then "if" Bush should get killed and Cheney die of a heart attack then The Lord (Clinton) can become president for life". Yeah, like I said, a real nutcase.

It will be a little league game compared to the world series with Brown vs Asman. That is why I said what I said a few hrs ago...Ritter does not have the balls to go on Fox News again.
