Isn't it exciting. TO ALL: CSPAN3 at 2:00 - Benjamin Netanyahu before Congress.
To: Woodman
Notice on C-Span many delegates either leaving or in deep dicussion within their own camps. I think he shocked them.He did shock them by showing them what they already know but are afraid to admit (translation=commit) to.

You may be right. It may be every bit as simple as that. I don't remember if his flip flop coincided exactly with the change in administration.

You'd think they would have figured it out by now, wouldn't you?
Just like this one: everybody in DC screaming about why he hasn't SHOWN them the proof.........and so, here we have it. Is it Bush's fault it's six weeks before the elections? No way. Works for me!

"Peter Jennings just said it was, a speech of great moral clarity, the kind we've come to expect from the president."
A friend told me that last night Jennings and one other regular commie news anchor also highly praised President Bush for his conduct yesterday, his speeches, his attention to all the families of those lost on 9-11, and now this!
I do believe God is at work - in the life of this man, our President - and in this nation - and even in the world - in a way we have not seen since perhaps the downfall of the USSR's and Eastern Europe's communist regime.
I sensed the skeptics out in the audience even coming to some sense. No doubt the propagandists will immediately - and have already - flood the airwaves with anti-Bush rhetoric. But for anybody who actually heard the speech - there can be nothing but genuine praise. (That is, unless you are the Butcher of Baghdad and his pals - like Hillary and Bill Clinton).

It's all in good hands now. Trent Lott and John McCain will be on at noon making the case for the Senate to act within short order to support the President and not wait for the UN to act as some of the Democrats want to do.....

We listened to the speech. We were floored. What a speech. I mentioned to my kids (12 and 14)..."Imagine if Gore tried to make that speech?" I *WISH* I had snapped a photo of their faces when I asked that. God bless GWB.

Texans believe the shortest distance between A and B is a straight line.
And a cardinal rule for communicating is to use simple words. His speech did that - no problem for anyone of any language to miss the translation in that General Assembly room!

President Bush took Koffi and the UN to the woodshed.

I think they have seen the evidence. And I think they have been scared out of their pants.

Thanks for the info. I love that guy, even though I can never pronounce his last name correctly.
To: MickMan51
It was very glowing. It showed the Bush team as united and determined and effective.

Note that no DemocRATs have been out on TV with face time. European reports from CNN show support building in Europe for the US position.
To: Carolinamom
I wonder if Dash and Hil will now need MORE info. (sarcasm) why bother .. they never recall anything

Amen - God bless President Bush! And, thank GOD, for him in this place at this time!
To: LisaFab
They will beat the drums of war, but it must be killing McCain to support the president.I think the teapot is starting to whistle and it hurts Johnny's ears.

On 60 minutes last night they detailed all that AF1 went through on 9/11.
To quote George W. Bush from 9/11 last year as told in the 60 Minutes II story last night:
BUSH TO CHENEY: "Dick, we are going to find out who did this and kick their ass!"
