The response to Jennings last year shocked the people he works for. His leash was jerked. His handlers know that many Americans won't tolerate the kind of garbage Jennings said last year. Note that Jennings received no raise recently. His job is not secure.

Let's put this all in prespective: President George W. Bush, this man the liberal media elite kept saying did not have "gravitas", this man who lacked foreign relations experience, this man who butchered the English language, this man who was too stupid to be President has just told the UN that they are ineffective, that all their resolutions are nothing if they cannot be backed up with action. The most powerful man in the world has just given them a verbal spanking, telling them to put up or shut up. A President of moral clarity, purpose and great courage.

In less than 2 years of leadership, we have witnessed a great President serve right in front of our eyes.

They did a chronology of 91101 on (me thinks CBS). Most memorable comment made that day that I heard last night. Was when W was talking to VP (paraphrasing):

Dick, this is war..find out who did it and we're gonna "kick their A$$"

Speaking of Ritter. I think I've figured out what his problem is. He's a Democrat. As long as clinton was in power Ritter was gung ho against Saddum. Now he's doing all he can to hurt Bush.

As I said, CNN is reporting that Lott and McCain will have a joint statement soon. They will beat the drums of war, but it must be killing McCain to support the president.
