KSFO sponsered the unfurling of the largest United States Flag today in Alameda.
There were over a thousand patriots here and it took over a thousand to keep the flag flying for over an hour. After this grate Patriotic Event I ventured over to San Francisco and encountered the communist terrorist supporters.

In Alameda, not at J.H. Plaza.

Glad the event turned out OK.
Your pics are great. NoCA is the most beautiful spot on earth. I still love it here, in spite of the liberal squatters and assorted human debris who've drifted in over the past 30 years and refuse to leave.

Sorry Syncro, I crashed last night before you got this thread posted, but this was sure fun to wake up to this morning. Loved the photos and comments. Got me smiling first thing.
I wish I could have been there, I would have loved to have seen that flag! Also would have been grate to see Melanie, bootless and AP again.......and, of course, you too! :-)

Now that is the perfect definition of "kooky"

Thanks for the great images. California, is truly the crown jewel of the greatest country on earth.........The only problem is, when we eventually vote out the liberal screw worms, will even more people want to come?
To: Syncro
It's a cool flag, but is it really any bigger than
This?
that one is is 740 feet wide and 390 feet high!
To: Mama_Bear
You would have loved it Mama_Bear. : ) It was wonderful to be around so many "in tune" people. Like a huuuge gathering of FResno FReepers! : )
Speaking of people needing "tuning" imo, in the evening there was a outdoor concert by the San Francisco Symphony at Yeba Buena Gardens for 9/11. I stopped by. There were possibly several thousand people there sitting on the lawn listening to music (Aaron Copland's "Fanfare to the Common Man," etc.). Mayor Willie Brown spoke something about people should be "tolerant." HUH?! Americans have bent over backwards being "tolerant," imo! There was quite a difference in mood and "oomph" (you know, guts/passion) between the people at the two events, imo.
Thank goodness for KSFO! : )

Isn't that that larkspur(?) flower flag in Lompoc, CA? There was a thread about it somewhere on FR awhile ago. It, too, is beautiful. : )

Good Morning AP, sounds like you all had a great day yesterday.
Since Alcatraz is still a federal facility see if that wonderful balloon could be tethered there. It'd be right in the middle of the air show!
I'd offer our boat but I think the Coast Guard might get upset with us.

G'morning Admiral! : ) Yes, it was great.
abner, pbear8 has a thought.
I'd offer our boat but I think the Coast Guard might get upset with us. : )
Hmm...then you might have to rename it the "Flying Nehemiah." : )

Thanks glad you enjoyed the thread.
I found the "missing" disc (LOL I usually lose something, most likely it is the camera!...but I had no one to find it for me so I had to be careful...), and will post more pictures later.

It was wonderful to be around so many "in tune" people. Like a huuuge gathering of FResno FReepers! : ) Oh man! I just HATE missing out on these things. At least we do have this forum where we can share photos and comments. It's almost like being there.......but, not quite. LOL!
(BTW, love your patriotic top.)
To: Syncro
Thanks for the photos, Syncro. They are awesome.
Looking forward to seeing you in Fresno again soon.
