KSFO sponsered the unfurling of the largest United States Flag today in Alameda.
There were over a thousand patriots here and it took over a thousand to keep the flag flying for over an hour. After this grate Patriotic Event I ventured over to San Francisco and encountered the communist terrorist supporters.
I think I hooked him up with Prince Abu from Nigeria, who was looking for someone to take care of $12 MILLION U.S. for him. (grin)
An awesome day! KSFO rawked - thanks to Melanie, CJ, Brian Sussman, Occifer Vic (who was right on the mark with his alternate personae of Gov Grayout, Billy "hee HEE" Jeff, and algore), Cmdr. Gomez, Cmdr. Chapin, Lt. Cmdr. Spivak, and the rest of the hardworking KSFO crew. AND to the Alameda Firefighters and Policemen, AND to everyone who showed up.
(We parked next to a guy whose truck hood sported a figure in a FDNY coat and helmet, holding a flag proudly.)
NEVER FORGET!
After leaving SF area I got this picture of the Golden Gate Bridge from Ft. Point.
The bridge was well protected, lots of Humvees around with our Military in them.
This is a close up of the vehicle next to the building in the previous picture.
I was driving this though:
Then I crossed the bridge and came upon 3 TV news crews...hoping something would happen on the bridge so they could have some news.
I swear this guy looked like a cardboard cutout when I first saw him, and he had some kind of cables holding him up...
Hay check this out...this van is from Channel 7...isn't tht KGO?
See that sign inside the van?
Here is a close up...
I was just seeing how the KSFO event went. It looks like it was a success! I guess you made it afterall? Too bad all the freepers didn't quite hook up, from the sound of it. I was kind of wondering about that myself---that is what's the etiquette for freepers who've never met meeting? Maybe for future reference, we all should wear convention name tags with our freeper screen names on them!
The treasonous gathering at Justin Herman Plaza looks nauseating. We went to the firefighters/police commemoration at Union Square. I have to say that, with the exception of 'Da Mayor' (who rambled on incoherently and then made sure to mention the "Chinese-American" woman (Betty Ong) who went to Ground Zero to help), this was probably the most dignified, patriotic event I've been to in SF. It was all thanks to the firefighters and police and their no nonesense speeches and patriotism. The bag pipes were great too and a boys' choir sang Danny Boy.
It was kind of wild to see sharp-shooters on the roof of Macy's and the St. Francis, but I was glad they were there. With all the cops and guns, I figured I was in good company!
STL
If our enemies think tht is our defense now they got another think coming...LOL more that A MILE.
We drove by after it was over.
Well the day went well and the Country ws safe...as well as this beautiful landmark.
I'm not sure he's even from my planet. LOL! : )
Syncro, I wonder if they "edited" that sign - look at the bottom - www.californiapeaceaction.org.
Even so, that's a grate picture you got! Certainly not the view one would expect to see from KGO.
That looks like GlenFeddich.
Hay, don't we have a commission for a seagull?
Good thing you took this picture, now you can write the trip off.
Oh well, it looked good from my angle...
Well that is about all the pictures I got fit to print...see y'all
:>)
Officer Vic bump.
