McAfee has basically ridiculed this virus (yes, it's real) in it's
writeup. Morever,
MSNBC has a writeup on this virus, which first appeared yesterday.

My Norton Anti-Virus auto-updated my definitions when I first booted up this am.
Norton or McAfee's anti-virus with auto-update is the way to go. They update your computer anti-virus software just about as quickly as they become know.

Uh, more bad news...some aol "homepages" have a virus imbedded within jpegs on the pages...my wife just told me about this, but didn't get me the virus name...
