Not suprising at all considering there were two attempted hijackings in the past 12 days that received very little media play -- the one from Sweden and the one from India. It was later determined that the one out of Bombay was to be diverted to Europe had the crew not stopped the guy.

I can't imagine anybody being stupid enough to try and hijack an airliner on today of all days. Even the terrorists. We'll have to see what this was all about.

State emergency management spokeswoman Jennifer Gordon says three people acted suspiciously during the flight, and they locked themselves in a bathroom on the aircraft. Officials negotiated with the three, and Gordon now says the three, along with passengers and crew from the plane, are now all off the aircraft.

Sounds like they paniced and probably thought they'd be beat to a pulp by the passangers once the passengers became nervous of their darket skin, so they hid behind locked doors. I doubt there is more to this story.

How about this possibility. 3 Middle eastern types, speaking in Arabic, feeling a bit uncomfortable with the idea of flying today because of the stares they are recieving this day... passengers become a bit agitated (understandable), 3 Middle Eastern types get paranoid, run off and lock themselves in the bathroom to avoid getting beaten or something.
