Come on folks. Geraldo just PROVED yesterday that during the cease fire during the Tora Bora bombings..that UBL could have made it out. Geraldo even 'walked the route' which took him only 3 hours on foot--at which point he found himself in Pakistan.
I think CBS is just attempting to discredit Geraldo.

Me, too. It could be a signal to other Al-Qaeda.I'm afraid you are correct. The timing is a little suspicious, don't you think?

More bad news for little tommy daschle, along with the unemployment numbers. Now we shouldn't pick on little tommy da$$hole like that. I've actually found
a good use for him !

Why would they be announcing this on 9/11? Something is up...secret signal to commence some kind of terrorist act perhaps?
BTW, I believe Osama is dead and has been for quite some time. But I just question the timing of this so-called announcment.

According to CBS, this is a well known website known to be operated by Al-Qaeda.I would have that all of these would be out-of-commission by now. Seems strange to me.

Oh, come now!
"jihad.net"?
Would you put more stock in this if it had come from "OsamabinLadensPersonalHomepage.com"?
Of course, the reality could be a lot more sinister. Usamaa could still be alive and planning his next attack with his closest, craftiest, terrorist tactician....
Be Seeing You,
Chris

A signal? Like in the classic Bronson movie 'Telefon':
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I've got promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

It won't load for me either. I think they are getting overloaded.

Get over here!!!

The website is jihad.net. If it really is jihad.net, I'd say it's a bogus report. The whois entry for jihad.net shows:
domain: JIHAD.NET
owner-address: Jihad to Destroy Barney
owner-address: Professor Huijbersstraat 145-7
owner-address: 6524 NX
owner-address: Nijmegen, Gelderland
owner-address: Netherlands

Just go to the newsite for Al Qaeda, Chris-- CNN.com.
To: Pokey78
Oh, he is dead. Even if he is somewhere breathing, he is a dead man walking, hiding, crawling, cowering.....

Nonsense. General Maureen Dowd has distinctly stated otherwise, more than once.
;-)
So where's his rotted damned corpse?
The technical term is spots.

Well, maybe if I hadn't heard about that tanker off of Newark (the one that may or may not be glowing in the dark)...
Nope, I've still got a very bad feeling about this.
I just can't believe they'd announce this on their day of infamy. Not unless they're about to give us what we want, but not the way we want it.
